1. Oreno Ramen Location & Waiting Information

While searching for a great restaurant at Lotte World Mall in Jamsil, I came across Oreno Ramen—enticed by its Michelin-rated ramen and notorious long wait.
The main branch is in Hapjeong, but I visited the Lotte World Mall Jamsil branch.
It's located on the 5th floor in the restaurant area.
Since it's connected to Jamsil Station, you can easily get there via subway or the underground bus stop, which was super convenient as I didn't need an umbrella on a rainy day.
⏰ Business Hours: 10:30 AM - 10:00 PM
(Last order 9:00 PM)
☑️ Closed: Open all year round
✔️ Parking available

Given the notoriously long wait, I'm sure many of you are searching for Oreno Ramen reservations or waiting information.
Please note that remote reservations via Catchtable are not possible; you can only join the waitlist once you arrive on-site.
What's more, it's a system where you need to pre-pay before joining the waitlist.
So, you'll first order your menu items and make a pre-payment at the on-site kiosk, then add your name to the waitlist using the tablet right next to it.

I arrived on a weekday at 3:30 PM, and even though it was well past lunchtime, I was number 14 in the waiting line.

After ordering and paying, I waited for about 20 minutes before being seated.
It seemed like they let solo diners in according to their turn, too.
If you're visiting Lotte World Mall in Jamsil, I recommend coming here first to put your name down for a spot, then exploring the mall while you wait.
2. Lotte World Mall Jamsil's Oreno Ramen: Menu Recommendations & Prices

Oreno Ramen offers just two menu items:
The classic Toripaitan Ramen,
and the spicy Karai Paitan Ramen.
Toripaitan is a rich and creamy chicken broth ramen, made by slow-cooking chicken bones for a long time.
I ordered the classic Toripaitan, and since adding cilantro is free, I went ahead and added it.
<📌 Oreno Ramen Menu Recommendations>
Menu | Price (USD) |
Toripaitan | ~$9 |
Karai Paitan | ~$9 |
Cilantro Add-on | Free |

✅ Free Noodle Refills, Rice, and Broth
It's perfect even for big eaters because noodle refills (you can choose between half or a full portion), broth, a bowl of rice, and kimchi were all available for free refills.
3. Ore-no Ramen: My Honest Review

I visited Ore-no Ramen after a wait at 3:30 PM on a weekday.
I visited alone.
The space isn't huge.
It's made up of about 20 regular counter seats, approximately 5 two-person tables, and 2 four-person tables.

Although I ordered the food in advance,
it seemed like they started preparing it once I was seated.
My ramen arrived after about 10 minutes.

My anticipation was high after the wait.
Let me share my honest thoughts.

It comes with one egg and chicken breast slices.
The broth is incredibly milky white,
and it was as rich and flavorful as its color suggested, really clinging to your taste buds.
It felt like I was eating a deeply simmered *sagol-guk* (ox bone soup).
It's a flavor that appeals to everyone, so I think even kids would enjoy it.

At first, I thought it might be a bit salty,
but as I ate more, the rich umami flavor developed, making me want to keep eating.
Noodle refills and an extra bowl of rice were available,
but the original portion size was just right for me.

By the way, pickles are served as a basic side,
and since they contain chili, they're spicy and refreshing, which is great for cutting through the richness of the ramen.
Perhaps because it's a Michelin-starred restaurant, even the pickles felt thoughtfully prepared.
Keep in mind that kimchi is not a standard side, but if you ask, they'll bring it out for you. Definitely eat it together with your ramen!

The kimchi is a little on the sour side,
and its combination with the rich ramen was excellent.
4. What Could Be Better

My satisfaction was incredibly high – high enough to make me want to visit again.
However, I did have a few minor quibbles.
Since there were only two types of ramen on the menu, I wished there were some side dishes,
as it would allow for a bit more variety.
Like dumplings, for example :)

Also, I added coriander,
but it wasn't an intense burst of coriander flavor.
I also wondered if it would have been better if we could add cilantro ourselves, according to our preference!
5. Ore-no Ramen FAQ

Q. How long is the wait at Ore-no Ramen?

I imagine the wait could be longer during weekend lunch peaks.

There were two main dishes: the signature Tori Paitan, and the spicy Karai Paitan. Besides that, they sold beverages and bottled beer.
Q. Is Ore-no Ramen Michelin-recognized?
