My Honest Review & Experience

As soon as you walk in, you'll see a handy map of the property layout. For our day trip, we booked the cozy Basecamp A102 cabin.

Olheun Hyusik Haru features a total of 9 private cabins, and each can accommodate anywhere from 1 to 8 guests.
The price is incredibly reasonable at around ~$90 for a full 12-hour rental (from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM).
There's also a spacious grassy lawn behind the cabins where kids can run around freely. It’s an absolute dream spot for families looking to spend quality time outdoors!

This is our home for the day: Basecamp A102.
It's a detached, private cabin situated right in the middle of the grounds. It comes with a lovely covered patio and a premium BBQ grill ready for action.

Heading inside, you'll find a spacious dining table, a clean kitchen sink, a rice cooker, and all the essential cooking utensils you need to prep a feast.
There's also a fully enclosed indoor lounge area where you can kick back and relax. Best of all, each private cabin has its own clean, modern restroom inside—a massive luxury for a glamping site!
The air conditioning kept us perfectly cool during the warmer hours, and since we visited during the colder season, we can also vouch that the floor heating (ondol) works incredibly well to keep you cozy!
We were so impressed by how clean and spacious everything was.

Just up the path, there's a charming cafe, which features a designated campfire zone right outside.
If you want to enjoy a campfire experience, make sure to book it in advance as slots are scheduled throughout the day.

There are clear guideline signs posted around the property. It’s highly recommended to give them a quick read before you settle in!

Quick tip: The individual cabins do not have private microwaves inside.
However, there is a shared microwave station located just outside the cafe building for everyone to use!

When you're ready to start your BBQ, simply message the host about 40 minutes beforehand.
They will come over to light the charcoal and even give you some fantastic tips on how to use the grill to get the perfect sear on your meats.

The magic truly happens after the sun goes down.
The ambient fairy lights illuminate the entire property, creating a warm, dreamy atmosphere.
It gave off a cozy, rustic European countryside vibe (even though I've never been to the European countryside, I imagine it feels exactly like this!).
If you are looking for a beautiful, hassle-free day-use glamping spot near Seoul, I highly recommend checking out
Olheun Hyusik Haru in Paju!
