How about boosting your health this transitional autumn season with pho?
The place I chose for a rejuvenating autumn meal this year is
the currently trending restaurant, Ttamttam (땀땀), in Nowon.
Even famous celebrities line up to eat at
the popular Ttamttam Pho, known for its long waits near Gangnam Station (강남역), which has now arrived in Nowon!
From my personal experience with weekend lunch waiting times
to honest reviews of each menu item, I'll break it all down for you.
01. Ttamttam Nowon Branch (땀땀 노원점) Basic Information

Ttamttam is a specialized pho restaurant famous for its premium Korean beef (Hanwoo) broth and generous tripe toppings.
Using healthy Hanwoo oxtail bone, Hanwoo oxtail, Hanwoo kneecap, and Hanwoo beef trotters, they craft a 100% Hanwoo Premium Broth, which is why it's also known as a popular waiting-list restaurant in Gangnam.
As Lotte Department Store Nowon Branch recently underwent renovation, Ttamttam Nowon Branch also newly opened on B1F of Lotte Department Store, and with its premium pho offering a more nourishing experience than regular pho, it's especially popular during the transitional seasons!
02. Store Location and Parking Information

Ttamttam is one of the open-plan stores located next to the food court on B1F of Lotte Department Store Nowon Branch. Because the waiting times can be intense, there's even a dedicated Ttamttam waiting line across from the counter.
Ttamttam offers both its own dedicated seating next to the store and access to the shared food court seating.

During lunch and dinner peak hours, on both weekdays and weekends, the food court is always crowded. So, if you're planning to dine at Ttamttam, I recommend going either very early or very late if possible.
While two-person tables tend to open up relatively quickly, finding a table for three or more people might be a bit challenging. On the other hand, if you're dining alone, you can use the dedicated store seating, making it a quicker and more comfortable experience.

When dining at the store, 2 hours of parking are supported. Make sure to ask a staff member to register your parking when you pay. Alternatively, since it's connected to Nowon Station Exit 4, you can easily visit by subway!
03. Menu

Since Ttamttam is a pho specialty restaurant, it offers a diverse range of pho options.
I ordered the Hanwoo Oxtail Rejuvenating Pho,
Grilled Garlic Beef Tripe Pho,
Bak Kut Teh (5pcs), and one glass of Gyeongtakju (경탁주).
✅ Hanwoo Oxtail Rejuvenating Pho ₩25,000 (~$18)
✅ Grilled Garlic Beef Tripe Pho ₩23,000 (~$17)
✅ Bak Kut Teh 5pcs ₩12,000 (~$9)
✅ Gyeongtakju (1 glass) ₩4,000 (~$3)

Bak Kut Teh (바쿠테) is originally a pork rib dish eaten in Malaysia and Singapore, a nourishing soup dish where ribs are slow-cooked with spices.
Ttamttam's Bak Kut Teh, however, is braised in a sweet soy sauce base, in a pork back ribs style, making it very appealing to Korean palates!
If you add just ₩12,000 (~$9) to your pho order, you can get 5pcs of Bak Kut Teh with any main menu item. As I'll mention below, Ttamttam's Bak Kut Teh is truly delicious. If you love meat, you absolutely must add Bak Kut Teh!
04. Honest Food Review

I visited during lunchtime on a weekend,
and as expected, there was a wait.
First, we found a spot in the food court,
then queued in the waiting line and waited for about 5 minutes.
Perhaps because pho noodles are cooked relatively quickly, leading to a fast turnover,
all our food arrived just about 10 minutes after ordering.

The Hanwoo Oxtail Revitalizing Pho
is impressive for its rich broth made with 100% Hanwoo beef.
The broth felt richer and deeper than galbitang (beef short rib soup),
so it wasn't just a light pho.
It truly felt like I was enjoying a premium health-boosting meal.
(Now I understand why it's famous as a great restaurant in Nowon (노원)!)

While the price might be a bit on the higher side for pho,
considering the generous portion, exquisite taste, and quality ingredients,
I believe it's a completely justifiable bowl of pho!
I especially recommend it when you want to warm your body on a cold day.

This is Ttamttam (땀땀)'s new menu item, the Grilled Garlic Beef Tripe Pho.
The deliciously grilled whole garlic cloves and beef tripe topping
are piled high, making the visual presentation absolutely stunning!
All of Ttamttam's pho dishes come with a generous amount of bean sprouts and noodles,
so much so that you might even find the broth to be scarce!

The beef tripe comes with a separate dipping sauce,
and when you dip the tripe in it, there's no greasiness at all.
The tripe, full of rich flavor, also doesn't have any unpleasant smell,
leaving only a savory, nutty taste!

But do you know what this place's real strength is?
When you order pho, you can get noodles or rice, bean sprouts, and broth
refilled once for free.
Honestly, I was more concerned about those with smaller appetites than those with larger ones,
wondering 'how could they possibly finish all of this?'
The portions are truly massive.

Bak Kut Teh (바쿠테) is a sweet, soy-sauce-based side of pork ribs,
where the meat easily separates from the bone, making it convenient to eat.

Honestly, Bak Kut Teh was a new and unfamiliar menu item to me,
but after trying it, the meat was so tender and the seasoning so delicious that I wanted to order Bak Kut Teh by itself.
If you add just ₩12,000 (~$9) to your pho order,
you'll get five large side ribs, so definitely try them together!

Also, before I came to Ttamttam, I looked it up and found that
recently, Sung Si-kyung's Gyeongtakju (성시경의 경탁주) Special Course was released,
and I heard Gyeongtakju is available by the glass or bottle.
I was curious about the taste of Gyeongtakju, so I ordered a glass.
I couldn't believe makgeolli could be this delicious and rich,
and honestly, after just one sip, I wanted to order a whole bottle.
Gyeongtakju, which harmonized surprisingly well with the pho,
If you just want to get a light taste of Gyeongtakju,
try ordering it by the glass!

For those who want a hearty meal that's good for the body,
or anyone looking for a nourishing dish this autumn,
how about a bowl of pho at Ttamttam's Nowon Branch 😊
