Nonhyeon can sometimes be a bit challenging to find hidden culinary gems, but
Dear Meal truly shines. The ambiance is wonderful, making it an ideal spot for brunch!

According to a friend who works near Nonhyeon Station,
this place can get quite busy with a considerable wait during weekday lunch hours.
Luckily, it was a slightly chilly and rainy day when I visited, so we managed to get a table without any wait.

They also have lovely outdoor terrace seating.
I heard it's quite popular during the pleasant spring and autumn months, offering a delightful al fresco dining experience.

When I visited, the festive decor, complete with charming Christmas trees and wreaths,
created a wonderfully cozy and inviting atmosphere at Dear Meal in Nonhyeon 🎄

Inside, the ambiance was calm and welcoming, with beautiful wooden accents.
The tables were spaced comfortably, providing enough privacy for a relaxing chat.

I loved the open kitchen concept, allowing us to watch our fresh salads being prepared in real-time.
Everything looked so meticulously arranged and appetizing! 😋

Dear Meal Nonhyeon: Our Recommended Brunch Menu

Dear Meal's menu primarily features three categories:
Avocado Salads, Sandwiches, and Cold Pasta.
Their signature dish, however, is definitely the Avocado Salad!
While they're called salads, these aren't your average light greens!
They're packed with a rich variety of toppings like
chickpeas, lentils, and sweet potatoes, making them incredibly filling and satisfying.

Here's what we ordered:
Sous Vide Flat Iron Steak Salad (~$11)
Sous Vide Pork Neck Salad (~$10)

I opted for the Sous Vide Flat Iron Steak Salad, which was the priciest option on the menu,
and it was absolutely worth it! The tender, succulent sous vide flat iron steak was incredibly delicious.
It came with a delightful mix of roasted broccoli,
brown rice, avocado, and sautéed mushrooms,
offering a fantastic combination of flavors and textures.

My friend's Sous Vide Pork Neck Salad was equally impressive –
clean, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We were both very satisfied.
It seems that for their Avocado Salad options,
only the main protein changes, while the base toppings
(like chickpeas, pumpkin, avocado, and sweet potato) remain consistent.
So, you can simply pick your favorite protein!

As we were leaving, I noticed some cozy window seats tucked away inside.
These would be perfect for a solo meal or if you're looking for a quiet spot to enjoy a healthy diet-friendly lunch.

And here's a little secret my friend shared – a truly unique touch at
Dear Meal in Nonhyeon: their avocado seeds!

They offer free avocado seeds for you to take home and grow your own avocado plant!
It was fascinating to see several avocado plants thriving right there in the Dear Meal store 🫢

With its perfect blend of great atmosphere and delicious food,
Dear Meal stands out as a memorable lunch spot in Nonhyeon.
If you're looking for a light, healthy, yet incredibly satisfying meal, I highly recommend checking it out! 🤗
