Nirvana Life Canggu Review: Best Bali Wellness Day Pass
Discover Nirvana Life Fitness and Wellness Club in Canggu, Bali. From Hyrox zones to cold plunges, here is my honest review and day pass tips for 2026.
For my second trip to Bali,
I wanted to focus entirely on wellness and rejuvenation.
My daily routine was basically:
workout, spa, beach club.
Wellness clubs are incredibly trendy in Bali right now,
and today I’m sharing my review of
the famous "Nirvana Life Fitness and Wellness Club" in Canggu!
Here’s everything you need to know.

⏱️ Mon-Sun 06:00~23:00
✅ Booking: Available both online (official website) and on-site

Out of all the wellness clubs in Canggu,
I chose Nirvana because
it was super easy to get to from our accommodation,
my travel buddy really wanted to try the Hyrox Zone,
and I was dying to experience the Recovery Zone
(cold plunge + sauna)!
So, Nirvana Wellness Club was the perfect match for us.
Since we arrived early in the morning,
it wasn't too crowded yet,
and the parking lot was quite empty.
But by the time we finished our workout, the lot was
absolutely packed with motorbikes!
We took a Grab since it was so early in the morning.
Nirvana Life Wellness Club Facilities
@calm__mood_

We purchased a day pass on-site,
and got our locker keys and towels to head to the locker room.
(To get a locker key, you need to leave a deposit—
they accept an ID, credit card, or hotel room key,
which they return when you hand the locker key back!)
✔️ We used our hotel room key as a deposit.
✔️ One locker is plenty of space for two people.
✔️ The locker room has showers, changing areas, and vanity sinks,
so you can easily shower and freshen up after working out.
Since we had a massage scheduled right after,
we skipped the shower this time.

Since the locker room was empty, I shyly snapped a quick photo.
There's a full-length mirror, perfect for a quick outfit check!
We had already changed into our workout gear at our hotel,
so we just dropped off our bags and headed straight out.
1st Floor: Class Zone

This is where the group fitness classes happen!
It's located right next to the front desk at the entrance.
They have a daily class schedule posted,
so if there's a class you want to take, you can book in advance
and join in.
We skipped the classes due to our tight schedule,
but if we had set aside a full day here,
I definitely would have tried at least one!
I noticed the coaches giving personal attention,
helping everyone adjust their posture 1-on-1 during the session.
2nd Floor: Cardio, Weights & Stretching Zone

One side of the second floor is a dedicated stretching zone
equipped with mats and basic stretching tools.
(Make sure to take off your shoes before stepping in!)
✔️ On the 2nd floor, you can only wear shoes on the designated pathways
marked with shoe icons on the floor.
Everywhere else is a shoeless zone!
On the other side,
there are plenty of weight and cardio machines,
perfect for getting some cardio in.
Plus, the window looks out over the Hyrox Zone and the pool! haha
1st Floor: Free Weights Zone

You can access this area through the glass doors of the 1st-floor Class Zone,
or by walking down the stairs from the 2nd floor.
Here lies the Free Weights Zone!
This was actually the area I was most excited about,
and while heavy squatters would probably love it here,
I found my options a bit limited,
which was a tiny bit disappointing.
First of all, the dumbbells start at 5kg (~11 lbs),
and the barbells are stored vertically,
making them a bit heavy and awkward to pull out.
I thought I had been working out pretty hard back home,
but maybe because I hadn't increased my lifting weight yet...
I got a major reality check! lol
Ladies, don't push yourselves too hard
trying to lift too heavy in the Free Weights Zone! haha
I really wanted to do some barbell hip thrusts,
but since the barbells were stored vertically (so different from Korea!),
I ended up giving up. hahahaha
Guess I'll have to train harder and come back!
Outdoor: Hyrox Zone

If you step out of the building and follow the path straight ahead,
you'll find the outdoor Hyrox Zone on one side.
There's a great variety of equipment and machines here,
which you can use freely anytime except during scheduled classes.
Even when a class is in session, the machines on one side
are still available for use.
✔️ This zone is a bit out of my league,
so I didn't actually use it haha.
But I popped over for a moment while my friend was working out,
and the only downside is that because it's outdoors, it gets incredibly hot! haha.
They do have fans running,
but it was still seriously hot.
The sun is also quite intense, so unless you're looking to get a tan,
sunscreen is an absolute must!
Outdoor - Recovery Zone

At Nirvana Wellness Club,
there are actually two Recovery Zones.
There's a sauna and cold plunge pool right next to the central cafe,
where you can cool off.
And over by the outdoor pool,
there's another setup with a sauna, cold plunge, and jacuzzi.
(The outdoor one is slightly larger!)
I only ended up using the facilities by the outdoor pool.
I spent a little time in the sauna after my workout,
and unlike the sweat from working out, it felt like all the toxins were just melting away.
There's an outdoor shower right next to the sauna,
so you can rinse off quickly
before jumping into the pools.
After the sauna, I braved the cold plunge.
At first, it was that freezing, skin-tingling kind of sting,
but once I got fully in, it felt incredibly refreshing.
While I was in there, I overheard some expats talking nearby,
saying today's cold plunge was actually on the warmer side...
They mentioned it's usually much colder, but maybe because of the crowd,
it felt a bit warmer today. I was so shocked!
Since I never even take cold showers in the middle of summer,
it felt freezing to me! lol.
When you visit Nirvana Wellness Club,
you absolutely MUST try the sauna and cold plunge after your workout!
It completely wakes up your senses and leaves you feeling brand new.
Outdoor - Pool & Cafe

Right in front of the outdoor sauna,
you'll find the swimming pool and the cafe.
You can freely claim any sunbed you like,
and once you settle in, the staff might bring you a beach towel,
or you can easily grab extras from the designated counter.
They also serve light drinks and food,
so you could easily spend the entire day relaxing here.

There's a restroom on one side of the cafe
where you can change into your swimwear.
After a quick rinse at the outdoor shower,
you're good to jump right into the pool.

After working out, hit the sauna, dive into the recovery pool,
and then swim in the pool...
I was so full of regret
that I hadn't booked a whole day here.
Our itinerary had a spa and massage
booked right after our workout, T_T
so leaving after just the morning was such a shame.
✔️ If you're planning to visit the Wellness Club,
I highly recommend blocking out a whole day
or at the very least, spending half a day here!!
Everyone else was enjoying a meal after their workout,
tanning,
or even getting some work done in such a relaxed, free vibe.
It was incredibly peaceful and laid-back.
Other Amenities & Facilities

When you step out of the main building, there’s a café right in the middle
where you can grab protein shakes and various coffee drinks!
I really wanted to try one of those protein shakes,
but because I was so paranoid about "Bali Belly," I stuck to just coffee...
And guess what? I got Bali Belly anyway! Hahaha...
I should have just gone ahead and ordered the shake!
There’s also a pool and sunbeds in the middle area,
plus a dedicated nap zone where you can relax in the cool breeze.
It's the perfect spot to unwind,
and I even saw some people sinking into bean bags
and getting a bit of work done!

On the way to the outdoor area,
there’s also a spa and massage shop,
so you can treat yourself to a post-workout massage!

I hit the free weights area, did some cardio and stretching,
and then fully enjoyed the recovery zone and pool.
I really packed a lot into a short amount of time!

I actually messaged them on WhatsApp to inquire before visiting.
I debated buying it online beforehand,
but decided to just purchase it on-site when I arrived.

and go through the exact same online purchase process anyway!
So, buying it online beforehand
will definitely save you some time.
If you do buy it on-site, just let the staff at the entrance know.
They’ll show you a QR code to access the booking page,
where you can fill in your details and make the payment.
Since there are quite a few fields to fill out,

buying it in advance is a huge time-saver!
Pro-Tips for Visiting Nirvana Wellness Club!
Here are my personal, tried-and-true tips
after experiencing Nirvana Wellness Club firsthand!
✅ On your first visit, ask the staff for a facility tour!
They’ll show you around and explain how to use everything.
At first, I thought, "How hard can it be?" and almost skipped it,
but I'm so glad I asked for the tour in the end.
They go over crucial club etiquette,
so it's highly recommended to get the walkthrough!
(For example, no shoes on the 2nd floor, no selfie sticks,
and while taking photos is fine,
it should be kept to non-intrusive selfies.)
They’ll give you a thorough guide all the way to the outdoor areas,
so definitely don't skip the tour!
✅ Bring your own water bottle
There are water dispensers inside,
and almost everyone brings their own tumbler to fill up.
If you're super worried about Bali Belly like I was,
you can always buy bottled water or drinks at the café inside!
✅ Don't forget your swimwear!
If you plan on using the pool and recovery zone,
packing a swimsuit is an absolute must.
✅ Clear your schedule for the day
There is so much more to do here than you’d think,
and you can even grab meals right inside.
Leave your schedule wide open so you can fully relax and enjoy it all!
✅ They occasionally hold yoga classes
in the private outdoor bungalow-style areas.
Be sure to check the schedule ahead of time and join a class.
(With the stunning rice field views, it looked like the ultimate yoga spot!)
✅ We highly recommend visiting early in the morning
We arrived before 8:00 AM,
and there was zero traffic on the Grab ride.
It was super peaceful and uncrowded,
but it definitely started getting busier by the time we were leaving.
✅ Bring a card, ID, or hotel room key for the deposit
(You’ll need this to secure a locker.)
✅ Bring entertainment (books, tablet, laptop, etc.)
to make the most of your downtime.
It’s way too nice to just work out and leave.
It's a wonderful place to grab a bite, do a little remote work,
or just lose yourself in a book.
Bring along whatever helps you unwind
and enjoy some slow, relaxing hours here.
✅ Leave your selfie stick behind (they're strictly banned!)
There are tons of mirrors all over the place anyway!
There are so many great spots to take selfies!
✅ For transportation, I highly recommend renting a scooter!
Going there early in the morning in a Grab taxi was totally fine,
but on the way out, the traffic was pretty bad in a car.
My schedule for the next spa appointment was so tight that I was super anxious!
Personally, I felt like I spent
way too little time at Nirvana Wellness Club,
and I really regretted it.
I seriously contemplated adjusting my schedule
to go back again the next day... no joke.
If it weren't for my next pre-booked massage,
I would have spent the entire day there.
If I ever travel back to Canggu,
Nirvana Wellness Club is my absolute number one priority to revisit.
Everyone there is so passionate about fitness,
and being surrounded by so many active, athletic people
was incredibly motivating!
The recovery zone is also amazingly well-equipped,
making it the perfect space to truly focus on yourself
and enjoy some quality me-time.
If you're a fitness enthusiast,
you absolutely MUST visit!
