Nine Tree Hotel Insadong Review 2026: Jogyesa Views
Discover why Nine Tree Hotel Insadong is the ultimate base for exploring Seoul on foot. Enjoy stunning Jogyesa Temple views and unbeatable access to top sites.

The Ultimate Walker-Friendly Hotel in Seoul 😎
Nine Tree Premier Hotel Insadong

If you're planning a trip to Seoul in 2026 and love exploring on foot, I've found the perfect home base for you.
Let me introduce you to the Nine Tree Premier Hotel Insadong, located right in the cultural heart of Jongno! 😎
What makes this hotel so special?
First, the hotel itself is integrated into the <Anyoung Insadong> cultural complex.
You're less than a 1-minute walk to the famous <Ssamzigil> shopping street, and under 10 minutes on foot to <Gwanghwamun Square and Gyeongbokgung Palace>.
Want to see traditional houses? <Bukchon Hanok Village and the Blue House> are just a scenic 20-minute stroll (about 1 mile) away.
It's incredibly easy to walk to Changdeokgung Palace, Jongmyo Shrine, and Deoksugung Palace as well.
For anyone looking to dive deep into Seoul's history or enjoy romantic city dates,
this location is absolutely unbeatable.
The absolute highlight? The breathtaking <Jogyesa Temple> view from the rooms.
The temple is literally just across the crosswalk! +_+ 👍
I also used a neat booking trick to get a fantastic rate,
so keep reading and I'll share exactly how to score the best deal!
1. The Best Walker-Friendly Seoul Base - Check-in Experience

The official name of the property is
Nine Tree Premier Hotel Insadong (by Parnas).
It's a highly-rated 4-star hotel in the Jongno district.
Here is my top booking tip for Nine Tree Insadong:
After comparing multiple platforms,
Agoda consistently offered the lowest rates by a significant margin.

If you're renting a car,
you can use the spacious underground parking lot.
Parking is limited to 1 car per room and costs ~$12 per night.

The main lobby for check-in is located on the 5th floor.
Check-in starts at 3:00 PM,
and check-out is at a leisurely 12:00 PM (noon), which is fantastic for sleeping in.
They offer complimentary luggage storage after check-out, which is a lifesaver.
Guests also get free access to the lounge,
along with a fitness center and meeting rooms.
There's a coin-operated laundry room available too—perfect for longer stays.
If you want to add breakfast,
it's ~$21 per person for hotel guests.
The breakfast spread here is actually quite famous for being delicious!
(For non-guests, the price is ~$25.)
2. Standard Twin Room (Jogyesa Temple View)

✔ Room Type: Standard Twin Room (Jogyesa Temple View)
I was assigned room 745.

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by beautiful traditional Korean artwork...
and that iconic view of Jogyesa Temple right out the window.
Combined with the perfect weather, it was absolutely stunning.
Honestly, the view alone makes this Jongno hotel worth every penny.

The room features a cozy sofa and a small table,

along with a wall-mounted TV, complimentary bottled water, tea bags, and coffee.
Everything was neatly organized and well-stocked.

The bathroom came with a full bathtub
rather than just a standard shower stall, which was a nice touch for relaxing after a long day of walking.

Down on the 5th floor, there's a lounge area that guests can use for free.
It's a great spot to sit back, chat, or get some work done.
They even provide an espresso machine and an ice dispenser.

One of the biggest reasons I recommend Nine Tree Insadong
for travelers who love exploring on foot is its surroundings.
Because the building is part of the Anyoung Insadong complex,
there's always something to see and do right downstairs.
During my stay, there was a lively pop-up market happening,
drawing in plenty of international tourists and locals alike.

This is the street vibe right behind the hotel.
It's incredibly atmospheric and captures that authentic, traditional Korean charm...
There are tons of cozy Makgeolli (Korean rice wine) taverns tucked away here,
so we grabbed dinner and drinks at one of them.

We also checked out the quirky shops at Ssamzigil nearby ~

And enjoyed the gorgeous view of N Seoul Tower from Bukchon Hanok Village ~

We walked from the Blue House down through Gwanghwamun before heading back to our room.
The location is truly unbeatable for a safe and scenic evening stroll.
As for booking the Nine Tree Hotel Insadong,
I checked every major platform out there,
and Agoda was hands-down the cheapest option.
I usually try to use Trip.com or local booking apps,
but even with secret discounts applied elsewhere,
Agoda still had the absolute best price.
