Musinsa Megastore Seongsu Review: Exploring Seoul's Fashion Hub

Seongsu has welcomed yet another incredible

large shopping destination!

We're talking about none other than the **Musinsa Megastore Seongsu**.

As soon as I heard it opened,

I just had to check it out,

and let me tell you,

you can really feel how much thought and effort Musinsa poured into creating this place!

First things first, this place is HUGE!

It spans a massive 2,000 pyeong,

stretching from the first basement level all the way up to the 4th floor above ground.

We're talking about the

largest single store of its kind in Korea!

You'll find a fantastic array of brands here,

and from B2 to B6 are all dedicated to

parking.

1F: Musinsa Girls

The 1st floor is all about exciting **pop-up stores** and **Musinsa Girls**

as its main spaces,

with pop-up stores operating seasonally.

The **Musinsa Kicks** display, cleverly integrated into the elevator wall space,

spans from B1 to 4F,

appearing consistently on each floor.

This felt quite unique to me,

as it's unlikely many people would visit Musinsa Megastore Seongsu

solely to buy shoes.

(Especially since there's even a dedicated Musinsa Kicks store

just 5 minutes away!)

Instead, it perfectly caters to that impulse to find

**shoes that perfectly match the clothes you just picked up today** –

how clever is that?

B1: Musinsa Young

Next, I ventured down to B1.

On B1, I was surprised to find

**Musingsa**, a free coin karaoke room!

It's such a brilliant, fresh idea, though

I have to admit,

it was empty when I visited.🤣

Plus, there was an exciting **NCT WISH pop-up** event happening,

complete with photo card giveaways!

You'll also find popular sports brands

like Nike and Adidas here.

The space is clearly curated with distinct concepts like

'Bag & Cap Club' and

'Musinsa Work & Formal'.

2F: Musinsa Beauty

The space I was most excited to explore was none other than the

**2nd floor Musinsa Beauty**!

As Musinsa's very first

offline beauty store,

I was incredibly curious to see how they would design and curate the space,

First off, there was a corner selling small sample products at a discount,

and since there were many indie brands I hadn't seen before,

it seemed like a great opportunity to grab some for a light test run.

Thanks to the high discount rate,

most items were under ~$7.

What really caught my eye was that for cleansing products,

there were sinks available, just like in a Lush store,

so you could immediately check out the textures!

It felt like they put more emphasis on the color makeup line

rather than the base makeup line,

The Chinese beauty brand Flower Knows, famous for its elaborate packaging,

was also stocked!

It was my first time seeing it in person, and while I still thought,

'This at *that* price...?', it's genuinely gorgeous,

so I definitely felt it would have its loyal fans!

Next to the Musinsa Beauty store,

the Musinsa Girls and

Miseki Seoul stores were connected,

creating a natural flow that led you to browse through everything!

3F: Musinsa Standard

The 3rd floor was the Musinsa Standard store,

but honestly, with so many Standard stores popping up everywhere these days,

I didn't feel there was anything particularly special about it.

(If you're short on time, I recommend lightly skipping this floor)

However, the Musinsa Standard Home lineup was quite diverse,

and there were even items that made me wonder,

'Musinsa makes *these* too?'

Especially detergent and fans...?

4F: Musinsa Sports, Food Garden

The final floor, the 4th, was primarily dedicated to

sports stores.

The kicks display area was also a running shoe collection!

One interesting thing here was that when you buy a jersey,

they offer a marking service to personalize it with your own style!

I bet baseball and soccer fans would really appreciate this service! 😉

Musinsa Megastore Seongsu

Food Court

On the opposite side of the 4th floor,

you'll find the Food Court,

home to a total of seven eateries.

Near the entrance, there's

Fuglen Coffee, a Norwegian specialty coffee brand.

Prices are a bit on the pricier side, with an Americano costing ~$4

and a Cafe Latte at ~$5.

The interior of the food court

is refreshingly open with expansive glass windows,

making it feel airy and not at all stuffy, which I loved.

While not huge,

the tables aren't too close together, so it doesn't feel overly crowded.

However, if you visit during weekend lunchtime,

expect a wait!

The 29CM FOOD section showcased

various food products perfect for gifts,

which was delightful to browse.

Another great feature was the outdoor terrace seating!

The weather was fantastic that day,

and quite a few people were enjoying their meals outside :)

Events

To celebrate its grand opening,

there are also quite a few events happening, and the

tiered gift event based on purchase amount

is pretty enticing!

Restrooms

Finally, as it's a new building,

the restrooms are also super clean and pleasant with a crisp white aesthetic.

Do note that restrooms aren't on every floor.

They're located on the B1, 3rd, and 4th floors,

so keep that in mind when you need to go! :)

It's a fantastic spot for shopping,

with plenty to see and enjoy, plus enticing event benefits,

so it totally makes sense that it generated ~$656,934 in sales in just 3 days.

If you love shopping, you absolutely have to stop by when you're in Seongsu!
