The BTS Connection: Retracing Jimin's Jeju Footsteps
Wondering why I traveled all the way to Hyeopjae
when my hotel was right by the airport?
Yes, this was a dedicated BTS-inspired pilgrimage across Jeju Island!
After Jimin shared photos of his Jeju vacation on Instagram,
fans have loved visiting his favorite spots like Nuwemaru Street,
Podo Museum,
and of course, making the journey to the west coast for Moonso.

Alongside BTS's Jimin,
many other Korean celebrities have dined here over the years.
Jimin reportedly visited quietly with a close friend to enjoy a peaceful meal.

It is always heartwarming to see
the traces of love and support
Jimin leaves behind during his travels.
During his visit, Jimin and his friend ordered:
The Yellow Crab Curry,
Egg in Hell,
and the Kurobutadon (Black Pork Rice Bowl).

I couldn't help but gasp in excitement
while looking at his framed autograph on the wall!

For those wanting to sit exactly where he did,
Jimin sat at Table #3.
By planning my visit during the quieter, off-peak hours,
I got lucky and scored Table #3!
It was an absolute highlight of my trip.

The Sous-vide Pork Cutlet and the Black Pork Rice Bowl

They also frequently introduce creative new dishes.

on their official blog.
Inside Moonso: A Look at the Atmosphere

One entire wall is completely covered with
signatures from the many famous guests who have visited.

The interior is unexpectedly spacious,
offering both Western-style tables and traditional low tables
to create a warm, multifaceted dining environment.
Tasting Jimin's Choice: The Kurobutadon
Since ordering all of Jimin's favorites was a bit much for one person,
and because I'm not a huge fan of curry,
I opted for the Kurobutadon!

This dish features premium Jeju black pork,
marinated in a rich house-made sauce and served generously over rice.

They even put on a fantastic culinary performance at your table!
The chef uses a blowtorch to sear the pork right in front of you,
adding a wonderful smoky aroma and char to every bite.
Delicious!

After finishing every last bite, I took a peaceful walk through the nearby alleys.

I wrapped up my perfect afternoon enjoying the emerald waters of Hyeopjae Beach.
A truly satisfying food and travel journey following in Jimin's footsteps!
