We made a reservation and arrived on a Saturday at 11:30 AM, right when they opened.

Since we arrived right at opening, we enjoyed a quiet and relaxed brunch in a peaceful atmosphere.

The interior is bathed in natural light, creating a cozy and inviting ambiance!

Do note that if the restaurant is full, there's a dining limit of 1 hour and 30 minutes.

We loved the neat table settings and fresh flowers. Before we even ordered, they brought out refreshing lemon water for each table.

One of the best perks of Margaret Magok is their corkage-free policy! You can bring up to three bottles of wine without any corkage fee. There's a small charge of ~$2 per wine glass, but considering the free corkage, it's still a fantastic deal, right?
Margaret Magok Menu Recommendations
Margaret Magok boasts an incredibly diverse menu.

From light appetizers like Arancini and Truffle Fries to fresh salads and gnocchi,

you'll also find a selection of pasta and steak dishes.

With desserts and even bar snacks, the menu looked so delicious we had a tough time deciding what to order!
A unique feature is that you can also order from Viva Napoli, the highly-rated wood-fired pizza restaurant next door!

Korean Beef Carpaccio & Tuna Sauce
Our first order was the Korean Beef Carpaccio with Tuna Sauce. Thinly sliced Korean beef topped with a savory tuna sauce melted smoothly in our mouths. The umami of the sauce perfectly complemented the rich flavor of the beef, making it an excellent appetizer or a delightful pairing with wine.

Octopus Salad
Next up was the Octopus Salad. The tender octopus, fresh greens, and zesty dressing created a refreshing combination that truly awakened our appetites. The octopus was incredibly soft and not at all chewy – absolutely delicious!

Truffle Cream Gnocchi
The undisputed highlight of our meal was the Truffle Cream Gnocchi. From the very first bite, a rich truffle aroma filled the air, and the chewy gnocchi paired perfectly with the thick, creamy sauce. While the portion wasn't huge, it was incredibly satisfying as a main course. This place is definitely a gnocchi맛집 (gnocchi hotspot)!

Margaret Magok Price Range
Main dishes at Margaret typically range from ~$15 to ~$22, and they also offer a diverse wine list.
Enjoying our meal in courses – Carpaccio, then Salad, then Gnocchi – created a wonderfully balanced dining experience.
Overall, we were thoroughly satisfied with the taste, plating, ambiance, and service at Margaret Magok.
If you're looking to celebrate a special occasion in Magok or simply want to savor truffle-infused gnocchi with a glass of wine, be sure to visit Margaret! 🍷
