What is "Mafia Game" about?
A group of old friends gathers at a peaceful, remote campsite for a much-needed reunion. But as old secrets surface, their relationships begin to fracture. Suddenly, a body is discovered right there at the campsite! Instantly, the peaceful retreat transforms into a tense crime scene. With conflicting testimonies and rising suspicions, chaos ensues. Who is telling the truth, and who is the lying killer among them? It's a gripping, laugh-out-loud mystery from start to finish!
Why You Absolutely Need to Watch This
1. The Immersive, Detailed Stage Design

If you've been to a few small-scale plays in Seoul, you know that stage sets can be hit-or-miss. Some are incredibly simple, while others completely transport you. Since Team Play is known for high-quality productions, I had high expectations, and they did not disappoint! The campsite set design for "Mafia Game" is so detailed and realistic that I audibly gasped the moment I walked in.
2. Surprisingly Comfortable Seating

Unlike many small theaters in Daehakro that feature cramped, hard wooden benches, Ara Art Hall offers incredibly plush, cushioned seats. You can sit comfortably for the entire 90-minute runtime without any back pain!
3. A Stellar, High-Energy Cast

Lee Bom | Choi Yeorum | Yoon Gaeul | Park Gyeoul |
Actor Chae Yi-won | Actor Choi Tong-ryeong | Actor Jeong Yeong-seong | Actor Kim Do-hyun |
The cast on the day I visited was absolutely fantastic. Chae Yi-won played Lee Bom, Choi Tong-ryeong played Choi Yeorum, Jeong Yeong-seong took on Yoon Gaeul, and Kim Do-hyun played Park Gyeoul.
Their comedic timing and chemistry were incredibly natural. My mom is usually the type to enthusiastically interact with actors when prompted, and the cast did an amazing job of playing off her energy and keeping the crowd roaring with laughter. Seeing her have so much fun made the night even more special for me! 💙
Where is the Best Seat in the House?

Honestly, you don't need to stress about booking a specific seat for this show. I've seen plenty of plays, but this was my first time experiencing a show where every single seat in the house gets to participate equally.
I won't spoil the mechanics, but even if you're sitting in the middle or way in the back, you will find yourself fully immersed and working together with the rest of the audience. It was incredibly heartwarming to see everyone unite to solve the mystery!

✔︎ Wrapping Up: Why You Should Book "Mafia Game" in Daehakro
The incredible energy of the actors, combined with the interactive guessing game, makes this play an absolute standout. What makes it truly unique is that because the audience directly shapes the outcome, the show changes every night. You could easily watch this play four times and get a completely different, fresh experience each time!
