Lowide Yeouido Brunch Cafe Review: Best Salt Bread in Seoul
Step into Lowide Yeouido, a popular Seoul brunch spot originating from Seoul Forest. Indulge in their famous freshly baked salt bread and enjoy a delightful weekend atmosphere. Learn more!

On a beautiful Saturday afternoon,
with hot air balloons gently floating
over Yeouido Park,
we visited LOWIDE Yeouido.

LOWIDE started in 2021
as a cafe in Seoul Forest,
and currently operates two locations:
the Apgujeong branch and the Yeouido branch.

Using domestically grown organic flour
and French gourmet butter,
all their bread adheres to the principle of
'made today, sold today' :)
📍 LOWIDE Yeouido
103, One Sentinel, 70 Yeouidae-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul
You'll find it on the 1st floor of the One Sentinel building,
right in front of IFC Mall.
It's easy to spot since it's on the corner!

Besides LOWIDE Yeouido,
the One Sentinel building is home to
many restaurants and cafes,
making it a frequent lunch spot for many.
Parking is available!
Spend over ~$7 to get
1 hour of free parking on weekdays, or 2 hours on weekends.

I visited LOWIDE Yeouido
around 1 PM on a Saturday,
and there were so many people enjoying brunch
that all the tables were taken.

You can order simple drinks or bread
at the kiosk, but brunch menu orders
are only available at the counter.

It was quite interesting that you could order
bread at the kiosk.
For regulars, it seems super convenient
to just order quickly at the kiosk and take it to go!
Since it was our first time,
we decided to head to the front first
to browse and choose our bread in person.

We actually met after lunch that day
and just stopped by to buy some bread, but
the brunch menu prices seemed pretty good too,
around ~$13 - ~$15.

What's especially appealing is that the brunch soup menu
comes with one freshly baked Salt Bread for free!

LOWIDE merchandise, like coffee beans and tumblers, was also on display, and

With such high ceilings,
even with a crowd,
the atmosphere was so comfortable!

The natural light streaming in through the cool, expansive windows
created an atmosphere that was truly captivating
at Lowide Yeouido.

In the refrigerator,
there were also simple bowls, sandwiches,
and drink options.
Review of Lowide Yeouido's Salt Bread

"But where is the salt bread?"
As I kept walking forward, wondering,
I finally encountered
the bread section.

Lowide Yeouido is famous for its salt bread,
but their baked goods
also looked delicious.
Nuneddine Butter ~$4
Financier ~$3
Chocolate Crunch Financier ~$3
Salt Bread ~$3

Melon Salt Bread ~$4
Sweet Potato Pain Suisse ~$5
Plain Scone ~$3

They also sell salt bread sets,
which would be perfect for gifts.
My friend, who came with me, bought one
as a gift!
Salt Bread Set ~$12
Cream Salt Bread Set ~$17

After some deliberation, I chose
one Original Salt Bread
and one Chocolate Crunch Financier!
Total Price ~$6

While waiting for my order to be packaged,
I briefly waited at the bar table seating,

and the atmosphere here was so wonderful
that next time I visit,
I'd love to have coffee or brunch here!

My friend and I at
Lowide Yeouido.
Evidence of my epic bread shopping trip lol

I took my bread to go
and tried it at home.
For a salt bread, it wasn't too salty
and had a soft texture.
The bread was thick, so the buttery flavor
really came through!

I also took a bite of my friend's Mentaiko Cream Cheese Salt Bread,
and while it was delicious (of course, it's a combination that can't go wrong!),
it wasn't particularly unique.
Personally, I'd recommend the clean,
original salt bread
a bit more! 😉
Honestly, I'm not sure if I'll go back
just for the salt bread,
but the atmosphere was so wonderful
that it made me want to revisit Yeouido Lowide
again for coffee or brunch next time.
