Low Five Anguk Review 2026: Pizza, Pasta, and Limited Lasagna

The buzz about Low Five, a pizza paradise, recently reached Anguk, and I just had to check out their new location! I'd heard about the famous Low Five in Haenggung-dong before, but when I tried to visit the Anguk branch on a previous weekend, the wait was simply too long, so I had to give up. 🥲

On a rainy weekday evening, I found myself near Anguk Station. "Surely the wait won't be as bad today?" I thought, and decided to try an 'open run' right when dinner service began. Here's how it went!

Perhaps it was the all-day rain, but when I arrived right at 5:00 PM for dinner, just after their break time, I got in without any wait! Usually, you can join the on-site waiting list from 4:35 PM, and remote reservations via Catchtable are available from 5:10 PM. It's a good idea to check ahead of time!

The charming red brick wall outside features a detailed menu and important notices. Due to its location, parking can be tricky, so public transportation is highly recommended.

Upon entering, you're greeted by vibrant sunflowers and lush green plants. The overall vibe is cozy and casual – perfect for a relaxed meal!

Near the entrance, there's a convenient self-service bar where you can grab extra wet wipes, hot sauce, salt, pepper, and water.

While Low Five is renowned for its pizza, we decided to try their limited edition Classic Lasagna!

Interestingly, instead of traditional pickles, they serve jalapeños as a complimentary side. As a jalapeño lover, this was a definite win!

Our Caesar salad and pasta arrived first.

The Caesar salad, priced at only ~$9, was surprisingly generous! It came with fresh greens and a hearty sprinkle of cheese, making it the perfect appetizer for two. A squeeze of lemon adds a refreshing zing! 🍋

Since it was a rainy day, I was craving something with a spicy broth, so we ordered the Hot Pot Pashe Pasta. I thought Low Five was just a pizza joint, but this pasta was unexpectedly delicious!

It features a rich tomato-based broth, plenty of garlic, and a subtle smoky seafood flavor. The generous amount of seafood, including squid, shrimp, clams, and mussels, was truly satisfying. Highly recommend this to any seafood pasta enthusiasts!

Finally, the Classic Lasagna arrived quicker than expected, allowing for a perfect full-table shot!

The limited edition Classic Lasagna was what I was most excited about. The visual alone was a winner – piping hot from the oven, brimming with rich meat sauce and cheese.

Personally, I believe the ratio of ragu sauce to cheese makes or breaks a lasagna. This one had a perfect harmony of abundant ragu and mozzarella, delivering precisely the classic lasagna flavor I craved! Since it's a limited item and can sell out, it's a good idea to confirm availability when you order!

By the time we left, the tables were completely full. If you're visiting after 5:10 PM, I highly recommend making a remote reservation via Catchtable in advance. The only downside is that, likely due to this waiting system, they don't accept advance reservations. It just goes to show how popular this spot is!

If you're looking for delicious pizza or lasagna in Anguk and don't mind a bit of a wait, Low Five is definitely a place I'd return to. Next time, I'm eager to try their half-and-half pizza!
