3. 'Kong x Godzilla' Wait Times (As of 4 PM on a Weekday)

I visited at 4:00 PM on Friday, July 24th—opening day!—and headed straight to the 3rd floor. The posted wait time was 60 minutes.
For opening day, the queue was actually shorter than I expected.
Plus, there are lots of immersive set designs and models to look at while you queue,
so it only felt like about 35 minutes!
Since the entire line is indoors with the A/C blasting, waiting was actually quite comfortable.
✔️ Date of Visit: Friday, July 24, 2026
✔️ Time of Entry: 4:00 PM
✔️ Wait Time: 60 minutes
✔️ Ride Duration: Approx. 11 minutes
By around 7:00 PM, the wait time dropped to just 20 minutes. Keep this in mind if you're planning to visit with an Afternoon Pass!
This was my experience on a weekday, so if any of you have visited over the weekend, drop your wait times in the comments so I can keep this post updated! :)

🚨 Quick Travel Tip! |
The Lotte World app only lets you view wait times *after* you've scanned your mobile ticket and entered the park. I highly recommend registering your ticket on the app the second you step inside! |
4. Honest Review: Riding the Lotte World 'Kong x Godzilla' Attraction

Since I went on opening day, there was absolutely zero information online about what the ride was actually like. I was incredibly curious!
Now that I've experienced it firsthand, let me break down all the details for you.

⚠️ Just a heads up: you have to put your phone in a storage locker before boarding, and photography/filming inside is strictly prohibited, so I don't have any inside photos!

The ride vehicle itself looks like a rugged jeep,
but it turns out to be modeled after the 'H.E.A.V.' (Hollow Earth Aerial Vehicle) from the Godzilla x Kong movie!
Each vehicle seats 8 passengers, and two vehicles move in tandem.

You can definitely tell how much theme park technology has advanced lately—
the vehicles are trackless,
and the screen resolution is so incredibly crisp that the sense of immersion is unreal.
Even though it's not a full-sensory 4D theater experience, I genuinely felt like I was right inside the action.
✅ How intense/scary is it?
It's not a high-speed, heart-dropping rollercoaster ride.
Instead, it's a family-friendly thrill level that even guests with younger kids can comfortably enjoy together.
There aren't any gory or overly scary scenes; the storyline focuses on Godzilla and Kong fighting off rival monsters to protect humanity.

✅ Are there any downsides?
If I had to pick one, the buildup/intro segment felt a bit long.
The vehicle starts shaking and the action on screen gets super exciting once the main event kicks off, but the pre-show/exposition part dragged a little.
It felt like roughly 5 minutes of setup and 6 minutes of actual action.
I think I felt that way because I hadn't watched the recent movies beforehand.
If you watch *Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire* before your trip, the ride will definitely be way more engaging and fun!
If you ask me if I’d want to ride it again,
I'd say, "Absolutely, yes!"
That's how much fun I had.
⚠️ Motion Sickness Alert
Motion sickness is real... haha. Not me, but my husband.
He’s quite sensitive to that, so please keep this in mind if you easily get motion sick!

Hearing the news about Lotte World's brand-new attraction,
I paid a visit for the first time in ages.
The new "Kong vs. Godzilla: The Ride" was absolutely worth checking out.
It was a ton of fun.
