We recently visited the Lotte World Tower Aquarium in Jamsil, and let me tell you, it's a popular spot for families and couples for a reason. Having experienced it firsthand, I completely understand why people rave about it!

The Lotte World Tower Aquarium is conveniently located in the Lotte World Mall, on basement level 1, at 300 Olympic-ro, Songpa-gu.
I opted for public transportation, and it was a breeze! Just take Seoul Subway Line 2 or 8 to Jamsil Station. Once you enter Lotte World Mall, the signs are incredibly clear, so you won't get lost finding your way to the aquarium.
If you're driving, remember to grab a parking discount ticket! You can park for up to 4 hours for approximately ~$3, or ~$0.14 per 10 minutes. The parking fees are quite reasonable, making it a good option for families traveling by car.
3. How to Get Discounts for Lotte World Tower Aquarium
Buying tickets at the gate can be a bit pricey, costing ~$26 for adults. Instead, it's always smarter to book in advance through online platforms rather than the official website or on-site. You can often find significantly better deals this way.

4. Our Favorite Spots for Kids
Upon entering, a mesmerizing array of attractions unfolded before us. Even as an adult, I found it enchanting and fascinating, so imagine the wonder in a child's eyes!
The mysterious underwater atmosphere immediately captivated us. Every corner seemed like a perfect photo zone, ideal for creating lasting memories with my child. My little one couldn't tear their eyes away from the sections featuring otters and sea lions.
The Sea Lion Ecological Presentation drew a large crowd and was definitely one of the most popular segments among all visitors.
And you can't miss the koi feeding experience! This is a hit with all kids. The koi are surprisingly strong, which startled my child but also made it incredibly exciting and fun.
In a submarine-themed area, kids can reach out and explore, perfectly sparking their curiosity. Throughout the aquarium, there are dedicated interactive zones where children can move around and play. These areas also offer a precious moment for parents to sit down and relax while their kids burn off some energy. I certainly appreciated the chance to catch my breath and seeing my child's beaming face made me feel like we'd made the perfect choice to visit.
And then, the grand finale: the Beluga Whales! A visit to Lotte World Tower Aquarium in Jamsil simply isn't complete without seeing these magnificent creatures.
I'll never forget the look on my child's face when they first saw such a massive marine animal. If you don't spot them from the upper viewing area, don't worry! As you follow the path downwards, you'll find another spot for an even closer look. I was lucky enough to have a beluga swim right up and playfully interact with us, resulting in some truly amazing photos.
The critically endangered Hawksbill sea turtle was also incredibly impressive, and the jellyfish zone, with its vibrant lighting, felt like stepping into a dreamlike, mystical world.
Towards the end of your visit, the magnificent Main Tank awaits. Here, Sand Tiger Sharks gracefully glide by, and its sheer size is truly awe-inspiring.
If you're visiting on a Friday, weekend, or public holiday, be sure to catch the Shark & Ray Feeding Show, held at 12:30 PM or 3:30 PM. No reservations are needed, and it's free to watch, making it a perfect activity for the whole family.
Finally, after saying goodbye to the playful penguins, our long journey through the aquarium came to an end. While our feet might have been a little tired, my child's face was brighter and more filled with curiosity than ever before.
