or if you should buy a full-day pass?
Many people hesitate, thinking that entering at 4 PM might not be enough time.
To get straight to the conclusion:
If you plan your Lotte World afternoon ticket itinerary well,
you can fully enjoy everything from the newest rides to the night light show.
I'll show you my exact 6-hour itinerary from my visit last week with an afternoon ticket.

🚨 Today's Travel Log
This is a review based on my own purchase and visit. (As of July 2026)
The Lotte World Afternoon Pass (After 4) is an all-inclusive ticket for entry after 4 PM.
It's more affordable than a full-day pass,
and highly recommended for those who want to fully enjoy the evening and night content.
⭐️ Today's Travel Difficulty ★★☆
You can fully enjoy 6 hours if you know the right route.

1. Lotte World Afternoon Pass Info & Discounts

The reason I chose the afternoon pass instead of the full-day pass is simple.
My goal was to ride the new Kong Godzilla ride, and I was curious about the park's atmosphere at night more than during the day.
The afternoon pass was perfect for saving money too.
Item | Details |
Ticket Type | Afternoon Pass (Entry after 4 PM) |
Regular Price | ~$36 |
Klook | ~$26
|
KKday | ~$25 (when using discount codes)
Usable before payment |

Actually, there are some credit card discounts available,
but since those require on-site payment, you have to wait in line at the ticket booth.
If you purchase in advance, you can enter immediately with a QR code without waiting in line, so I bought mine beforehand.

If you use a discount code, KKday currently offers the lowest price.
Since discount coupons are first-come, first-served,
if they're sold out, try booking through Klook :)
Refer to these options and book wherever you find the best deal.

2. Afternoon Pass 6-Hour Actual Course Timeline

Time | Course | Highlights |
4:00 PM | Entry ➜ Head straight to Kong Godzilla | New ride, 50-minute wait on a weekday at 4 PM |
~5:30 PM | Atlantis + Gyro Drop | Thrill Attractions |
7:00 PM | Watch Indoor Carnival Parade | Brazil Samba Festival |
~8:00 PM | French Revolution | 30-minute wait as of 7:20 PM on a weekday |
8:20 PM | Spooky Parade Performance | Summer season limited (until 8/30) |
8:40 PM | Magic Castle Lights Up | Outdoor Light Show |
9:00 PM | Carousel Photo Zone | Take night view photos |

🚨 Travel Tip! |
As soon as you enter, make a beeline for Konggozilla. It's a new ride, so the wait tends to be long. I went to ride Konggozilla right after entering at 4 PM, and the wait was about 50 minutes! |

When I visited, the Lotte World parades were held at 2 PM and 7 PM, and honestly, before seeing it, I wondered, "Will this even be fun?"

But when I actually experienced it, the excitement was incredible.
The parade's concept this time was Brazilian Samba, so it's an atmosphere where not only kids but also adults dance and have a blast.
In the middle of the parade, they temporarily remove the barricades, and everyone can step into the line
to dance together, so make sure you join in the fun.

⚠️ Important Note
Performance and parade times change depending on the date and season.
Before your visit, download the Lotte World Adventure app
and be sure to check the performance schedule on the day of your visit.
3. Is a Lotte World Afternoon Pass Enough? Comparing with a Full-Day Pass

This is one of the most frequently asked questions.
When an Afternoon Pass is Enough
✔️ Your goal is a few new rides like Konggozilla + the night atmosphere
✔️ You plan to tackle popular attractions when wait times are shorter at night
✔️ You want to make the most of your time without being exhausted all day
When a Full-Day Pass is Better
✔️ You want to ride every single indoor zone attraction without missing any.
✔️ You want to leisurely see everything, including the Folk Museum and parades.
✔️ You're visiting with children and plan to take things slow.

Even with an afternoon pass, I managed to experience Konggozilla + thrill attractions + two performances + and the night views.
Entering at 4 PM is definitely not too short.
With 6 hours until closing, you can cover more than you think.
🚨 Travel Tip! |
If you're not going to be at Lotte World all day, paying the full-day pass price is a waste. Decide on your goal first, then choose your ticket type. If new rides + night views are your goal, the afternoon pass offers the best value for money. |
4. Lotte World Unlimited Pass FAQ

Q. What time does the Lotte World Afternoon Pass start?
It's the "After 4" pass, allowing entry from 4 PM.
It varies by platform, but the afternoon pass is generally cheaper than a regular unlimited pass.

Q. Can I ride Konggozilla with an Afternoon Pass?
Yes. It's an unlimited pass, so you can ride it without any extra charges. Konggozilla is located on the 3rd floor indoors.

Q. How many rides can I go on with a Lotte World Afternoon Pass?
I managed to do 4 attractions, including Konggozilla, plus 2 performances, the parade, and take night view photos.
It's plenty if your route is efficient.
Q. Isn't it cheaper to book with a card discount?
That's right. For some credit card companies, card discounts can be cheaper.
However, you have to wait in line at the ticket booth to buy them.
That's why I just got a pre-booking discount and went.

According to the article, when heading straight to Konggojilla immediately after entering at 4 PM on a weekday, the waiting time was approximately 50 minutes. Konggojilla is located on the 3rd floor indoors at Lotte World.
The indoor carnival parade mentioned in the article was observed at 7 PM and was held with a Brazilian Samba Festival concept. There was also a time during the parade when spectators could dance along.
The Lotte World afternoon ticket includes park admission, attractions, and access to the Folk Museum. The main advantage is being able to fully enjoy evening and night content at a lower price than a full-day ticket.
