1. Lossok Hannam: Location and Parking
📍 Lossok Hannam
1st Floor, 14 Hannamdaero 21-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, South Korea
Lossok Hannam is conveniently located near Soonchunhyang University Hospital. For those traveling from the southern Gyeonggi Province, it's a fantastic meeting point due to the numerous express bus routes stopping nearby. It's truly an ideal location for any get-together! ❤️

Just a short stroll off the main road, you'll find Lossok on the first floor of this stylish building. Remember, valet parking is available for a fee, so it's super convenient!
2. Lossok Hannam: Ambiance and Interior

The exterior hinted at something special, and Lossok Hannam's interior definitely delivered. It boasts a sophisticated yet impeccably clean atmosphere, designed to evoke the cozy charm of a traditional Korean 'sarangbang' (guest room).

With a dedicated wine cellar displaying a variety of bottles and an array of wine glasses, it's clear they cater to wine lovers. And speaking of catering, they even have high chairs, making it a comfortable spot for family gatherings with little ones! 😌

Beyond wine, Lossok offers an impressive selection of beverages, including Ebisu draft beer, whiskies, and a diverse highball lineup. This means you can perfectly pair your delicious beef with your preferred drink.
3. Lossok Hannam: Menu Recommendations

The menu at Lossok Hannam primarily features various cuts of Hanwoo roast beef, alongside their special 'Ok Special' and a range of satisfying lunch options.
My friends and I, a group of three, decided to order the following:
Assorted Roast
Gimbap Yukhoe (Beef Tartare Gimbap)
4. Lossok Hannam: Honest Review of Beef & Highballs

Right from the start, the banchan (side dishes) here are a cut above what you'd find at most Korean BBQ spots, wouldn't you agree?!
We were treated to an array of delights: Gungchae (royal fern), shiitake mushrooms, stir-fried dried pumpkin, and dried pollack salad. For the spicier side, there was mustard leaf kimchi, pickled cucumber salad, and spicy squid salad. Each one was an incredible pairing with the Hanwoo – absolutely divine! ☆

I completely forgot to snap a solo picture of this, but instead of the usual green onion or lettuce salads, they served a fresh mugwort salad! 👀👀 All three of us absolutely loved it and even asked for seconds! 🤣🤣

The Assorted Roast featured four different cuts: thinly sliced sirloin, regular sirloin, brisket flap, and hand-sliced brisket point. We were advised to grill them in that specific order to enjoy each cut at its best.

Since all the cuts were relatively thin and the charcoal grill was excellent, the meat cooked incredibly fast. We grilled just three pieces at a time, savoring each bite like a personal omakase experience! 🤭

The thinly sliced sirloin, known as 'deapae' style, was even more tender and melt-in-your-mouth than regular sirloin. It was an absolute delight.

And then there was the Gimbap Yukhoe… its stunning presentation made it an absolute must-order!

Imagine Chungmu Gimbap style — simple gimbap rolls paired with seasoned pickled radish, but then elevated with fresh beef tartare (yukhoe) on top! How amazing does that sound? ❤️ It was especially fantastic when paired with our highballs.
Next time, I'm definitely bringing a special bottle of wine to celebrate an anniversary and take full advantage of their corkage-free policy!
That wraps up my review of Lossok Hannam, a fantastic beef restaurant in Hannam-dong! :>
