📍 Latree Hotel

Prime Location: Walk to Lotte World and Jamsil Station
While Lotte World itself doesn't have hotels directly attached, the area just a short 5-minute walk away is bustling with accommodations and eateries. We chose Latree Hotel, tucked behind a vibrant food alley brimming with delicious dining options.

Being right near Olympic Park also makes it a great base for exploring other parts of the city.
With a plethora of restaurants right next door, finding a tasty meal was incredibly convenient. The night before visiting Lotte World, it was the perfect plan to meet friends at the nearby Lotte Mall for dinner. The hotel's excellent accessibility meant we could walk directly to the mall with ease.

The next morning, it was raining, so we took the subway just one stop to Jamsil Station and used the underground passage to enter Lotte World. This is a top-notch route to get there easily, regardless of the weather – definitely keep it in mind!

I was initially a bit concerned about the hotel's location in a street with many other lodging options, worrying it might feel more like a motel than a family-friendly spot. However, my worries were unfounded; it was incredibly clean and comfortable, truly perfect for families traveling with children.

Check-in is a breeze using a self-service machine – simply enter your name. After 4:00 PM, your room key card is automatically issued.

We arrived before check-in time to drop off our luggage. A quick call to the number posted at the entrance or a request to the staff inside, and they gladly stored our bags. This allowed us to comfortably meet friends in Seoul and return in the evening to pick up our luggage and head straight to our room.

Spotless and Comfortable Rooms, Perfect for a Family of Four
The room layout is both unique and efficient. There's one bed right by the entrance, and further down the hall, you'll find a second, larger bed.

What truly impressed us was having two separate bathrooms, both equipped with showers. This was a lifesaver during busy mornings, allowing our family to get ready without any fuss.

Two separate bathrooms
The room also featured a large TV, a hairdryer, and a vanity, all of which were highly appreciated. Even my kids, who are usually quite particular about hotel cleanliness, raved about how spotless it was. With two separate air conditioning units in different areas, we could easily adjust the temperature to our liking, ensuring a comfortable stay.

Free Breakfast Service That Exceeded All Expectations
We were told breakfast officially started at 8:00 AM, but when we went down a little early, around 7:50 AM, everything was already neatly set up and ready to go.

I expected a simple continental breakfast with cereals, instant noodles, bananas, tomatoes, and toast. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find offerings like gimbap (Korean seaweed rice rolls) and perfectly fermented kimchi! It was a delightful addition.

My kids were thrilled, enjoying gimbap with kimchi for a hearty start to their day.

When I sent photos of the room and breakfast to my husband, who couldn't join us on this trip, he was genuinely impressed, remarking that the quality for around ~$69 was exceptionally good.

This was a truly perfect, self-funded trip that delighted our entire family. If we ever visit Lotte World again, I will absolutely rebook this hotel near Lotte World. I wholeheartedly recommend it to all my friends and family!
