Planning a trip to Jeonju? Discover why Lahan Hotel Jeonju is the perfect choice for a comfortable stay with unparalleled access to the historic Hanok Village.

Hello, this is Moarang :)
For those of you planning a trip to Jeonju!
The most popular tourist spot is, of course, Hanok Village.
Jeonju Hanok Village offers various accommodations,
including traditional hanok stays and guesthouses.
However, hanok stays often have poor soundproofing,
and the rooms, typically ondol-style, can be quite small.
That's why I'm excited to introduce
'Lahan Hotel Jeonju,' the only hotel in Jeonju Hanok Village.
Easy Access to Jeonju Hanok Village

Parking Is Incredibly Convenient

If you're traveling to Jeonju by car,
parking can actually be a pretty big concern.
Jeonju Hanok Village attracts so many tourists
that nearby public parking lots fill up quickly on weekends.
✔️ Lahan Hotel Jeonju boasts
ample parking facilities across 3 underground levels,
and it's free for guests.
Here's a truly important point!!
While check-out is at 11 AM,
you can enjoy additional free parking for your vehicle even after check-out.
When I visited, it was until 1 PM, but I've also heard reviews
saying it was possible until 3 PM.
Since this might vary depending on the date or situation,
be sure to confirm the exact free parking hours
at the front desk when you check in!!
What's certain is that additional free parking after check-out is available,
so you can explore Hanok Village at a more leisurely pace before heading off :)
Being able to enjoy Hanok Village without worrying about crowded public parking lots
is truly one of Lahan Hotel Jeonju's biggest advantages :)
Family Twin Hanok View Room Review

The room I stayed in this time was the Family Twin Hanok View.
Upon entering the room, the first thing that caught my eye was the beds.
The Family Twin room comes with two double beds,
providing ample space for each person to have their own bed.
Whether traveling with family or staying with friends,
I personally find it more comfortable when the beds aren't pushed together.
It felt great to have our own individual space :)
The room itself was neatly organized, and the overall atmosphere was very comfortable.

I'm not sure if it's because it's a family room, but there were even four bottles of water provided :)

And here's why I strongly recommend choosing a room with a Hanok view!!
It's the breathtaking view of Jeonju Hanok Village right from your room.

As you look out the window, you'll see the traditional Hanok rooftops stretching out,
offering a completely different vibe from the city views you typically get in regular hotel rooms.
It's a distinct feeling.
I loved how it really made you feel like you were in Jeonju, even when you were inside your room.

Especially during dawn, daytime, sunset, and night,
you get to witness the Hanok scenery transform with a unique atmosphere at each time.
Just gazing out the window was a healing experience in itself! 😊
After exploring Hanok Village during the day,
coming back to your room and looking out the window
revealed a whole new atmosphere, which was quite delightful! :)
I was assigned a room on the 6th floor,
and since the Hanok buildings are quite low, even from the 6th floor,
I could still enjoy a wonderfully scenic Hanok view.

The bathroom was also spotlessly clean.
It had a bathtub, and shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were
all provided.

I'll also include other hotel-related information
here for your reference! ^^
Amenities
Rooftop Outdoor Pool, Breakfast Buffet, Fitness Center

I didn't actually use the pool, so I just went up in the morning on checkout day
to snap some photos.
The day I visited, it was cloudy and looked like it was about to rain,
but despite that, there were still lots of people there even in the morning!!

Breakfast is served from 7 AM to 10 AM,
and I heard that the Gomtang (beef bone soup) at Lahan Hotel is absolutely delicious!!

The fitness center is free for guests,
so if you enjoy working out, keep that in mind.
How to Make the Most of Jeonju Hanok Village

Since the accommodation is right in front of Jeonju Hanok Village,
I was able to enjoy it more fully than others.
If you take a stroll early in the morning,
there are far fewer tourists than during the day, so you can enjoy a peaceful walk.
Lahan Hotel's location is perfect for an early morning stroll!!
There are also many must-try foods in Jeonju Hanok Village,
like Choco Pie, Jeonju Bibimbap, Piseundae (blood sausage), Kongnamul Gukbap (bean sprout soup), and more.
The culinary options are truly diverse!
Since the hotel is so close, it's convenient to drop off your bags in the middle of the day,
and if you're running low on energy, you can easily pop back for a quick rest before heading out again! 😊
