Lahan Hotel Jeonju: Your Perfect Hanok Village Stay & Breakfast
Planning your Jeonju adventure? Discover why Lahan Hotel Jeonju is the perfect choice for an authentic Hanok Village stay, offering stunning views, family-friendly amenities, and a delicious breakfast buffet. Find out how to book your ideal room!

Deciding on the perfect place to stay in Jeonju can be surprisingly tricky. If you aim for a spot right in the heart of the Hanok Village, prices can skyrocket. Opt for a more budget-friendly option, and you might find yourself dealing with inconvenient commutes to the main attractions.
After some searching, my family and I settled on Lahan Hotel Jeonju. Even though our trip coincided with the Jeonju International Film Festival, which meant a slightly higher price point than usual, we were absolutely thrilled with our choice.
Today, I’m excited to share our review of Lahan Hotel Jeonju, your ideal Hanok Village accommodation, along with some tips on how to snag a better deal!
Lahan Hotel Jeonju: Location & Parking
📍 Lahan Hotel Jeonju
85 Girin-daero, Wansan-gu, Jeonju-si, Jeollabuk-do, Republic of Korea
The location of Lahan Hotel Jeonju, right by the Hanok Village, is simply unbeatable.

Step out the back gate, and in less than a minute, you’re right in the charming alleys of the Hanok Village. This means you can easily walk to the famous Bibimbap Alley, the quaint cafe streets, and all the other main attractions!

Exploring the Hanok Village is undoubtedly the highlight of any Jeonju trip. Having our hotel right next door was a game-changer! We could wander leisurely, pop back to the room for a quick rest when we got tired, and then head right back out to continue our adventure without wasting any energy on long commutes.
Parking is available on levels B2 through B4, and we found plenty of spaces, making it quite convenient to park. Just remember to give your car’s license plate number to the front desk when you check in.
A huge plus: you can leave your car parked until 2 PM on the day of checkout, giving you ample time to explore the Hanok Village during the day even after you’ve checked out.
Lahan Hotel Jeonju: Our Room Experience

We stayed in a Deluxe Double room with a Hanok View.

As soon as we opened the curtains, the stunning panorama of the Hanok Village unfolded before us. I initially wondered if a Hanok view was truly necessary, but seeing it in person changed my mind completely.

The graceful lines of the traditional tiled roofs stretched out beyond our window, and it was truly beautiful. The view wasn't just great during the day; the Hanok Village looked equally enchanting at night and serene in the morning. My child and I spent our two-night stay happily chatting and admiring the ever-changing scenery.

Our room featured a comfortable double bed, and the hardwood floor was perfect for our child to move around freely.

A small table and chairs were also provided, where my child enjoyed snacks and relaxed in the evenings.
Although we hadn't requested it in advance, they had a bed guard available, which was a nice surprise.

With the bed guard, it felt like three people could comfortably sleep in the room. However, my husband found it a bit snug, so we opted for an additional rollaway bed for ~$23. Be aware that the extra bed can be a bit noisy, so I highly recommend booking a twin room in advance if you need more space.
The room also included a desk and a small sofa, ensuring ample space for three of us to move around comfortably.

Complimentary bottled water, coffee, and green tea were provided. It was perfect for relaxing in the room with a hot drink right after check-in (not capsule coffee, but still quite satisfying! 👍).
What about the bathroom amenities?

The bathroom was equipped with a sink, toilet, and a bathtub. While there wasn't a separate shower stall, the bathtub allowed for both quick showers and a relaxing soak.

The amenities provided were Lahan's own branded products, including:
✔ Shampoo ✔ Conditioner ✔ Body Wash ✔ Body Lotion
✔ Foaming Cleanser ✔ Razor ✔ Cotton Swabs ✔ Shower Cap
It's worth noting that you'll need to bring your own toothpaste, toothbrushes, and skincare products. This is common practice in most hotels in South Korea, so it’s always a good idea to pack them yourself (though there's also a convenience store right next to the lobby on the first floor if you forget!).

This trip was my first experience exploring the Hanok Village at night.
Honestly, I've visited Jeonju many times, but this was my first time wandering through the Hanok Village after dark!

Since our hotel was right there, we simply stepped out for a stroll after dinner, and the atmosphere was completely different from the daytime. I was genuinely surprised by how magical it felt to walk beneath the illuminated tiled roofs.
The alleys, which were bustling with tourists during the day, transformed into a serene and quiet haven at night, making the experience even more enjoyable.
Lahan Hotel Jeonju: Breakfast Buffet at The Plate

The breakfast buffet at The Plate is definitely one of the reasons I recommend Lahan Hotel Jeonju!

The Plate is conveniently located on the first floor of the hotel.
Operating Hours: 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Pre-booking Discount (register at the front desk by 10 PM the previous day):
Adults: ~$19
Children (48 months - elementary school age): ~$15
It’s slightly cheaper to book your breakfast directly at check-in. Our room reservation already included the buffet, and we found the menu selection to be quite substantial.

The traditional 'Gamasot Gomtang' (beef bone soup cooked in a cauldron) is particularly famous here, and it certainly lived up to the hype – truly delicious! I happily devoured a bowl first thing in the morning.
Beyond that, the buffet offered a wide range of dishes, including Samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup), various Korean side dishes, bulgogi, an assortment of breads (croissants, toast, egg tarts, etc.), French toast, french fries, sausages, an egg salad bar with diverse dressings, yogurt, cereals, fresh fruits, coffee, and other beverages.

While the number of dishes wasn't overwhelmingly huge, the selection was thoughtfully curated to appeal to both children and adults, making it incredibly convenient for family travelers.

Kids' tableware and high chairs were readily available, so traveling with young children was a breeze. Given that Jeonju travel often involves exploring many local eateries throughout the day, this breakfast was perfectly satisfying. The reasonable price also made it a great value!
Lahan Hotel Jeonju: Booking & Pricing Tips

Agoda often offers competitive prices, but their discounted rooms tend to sell out quickly. It's always a good idea to compare prices across different platforms for your travel dates to find the best deal.
* Prices based on a Twin Hanok View room, mid-June 2026, Friday-Saturday:
Agoda | Trip.com |
~$99 | ~$135 |
+
The twin room can accommodate up to four people and allows you to push the beds together, which is something I highly, highly recommend for family travelers. However, twin rooms sell out much faster, so if you've decided on your travel dates, it's best to book a refundable reservation well in advance.
While the price may vary, I strongly believe opting for the Hanok Village view is a must (it's truly one of Lahan Hotel's biggest advantages!).

Ultimately, the choice is yours based on your budget and preferences.
I hope this post helps those of you contemplating accommodation in Jeonju Hanok Village!
Have a wonderful and exciting trip to Jeonju!
