La Suisse Seochon Review 2026: Authentic Swiss Dining in Seoul
Step into a slice of Switzerland in the heart of Seoul! La Suisse Seochon offers authentic home-style Swiss cuisine in the charming Seochon neighborhood. Discover a unique culinary escape.

While wondering where to have a family meal in Seochon, we decided to try **La Suisse Seochon**, a fantastic Swiss home-style restaurant.
A must-visit spot recommended by **my father's friend, who studied in Europe for a long time**!
La Suisse Seochon Location & Parking
📍 La Suisse Seochon
11-36 Jahamun-ro 6-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul, inside Crea Parking Lot
If you're coming from Anguk Station, La Suisse Seochon leads you into a narrow back alley.
If you go this way, you'll enter through the **back door**, and you might think, "Huh? Is this the right place?" But just keep following the signs, and you'll find the entrance.

The layout is a bit unique;
The other entrance is connected to the parking lot, so it's more convenient to navigate by searching for **Crea Parking Lot**!
It's right in front of the parking lot, so while it's paid, the convenience of parking is a big plus.

If you search for the parking lot and enter, you'll walk past this dog, and the entrance will appear right away.

We met our family here and went in together, so we ended up going back and forth between both entrances,
but entering from the **Crea Parking Lot side** is much easier to find, so keep that in mind!

This is the entrance to La Suisse Seochon!
From the outside, you can see an atmospheric wooden house exuding European vibes and the **Swiss flag** :)
Right next door, there's also **Petit Ton, a Swiss bakery**, so you can casually browse or even do some bread shopping, haha!

This is a **historic Seochon restaurant** that has won the Blue Ribbon for an incredible 13 consecutive years.
It's even been featured on popular TV shows like 'Master of Life' and 'Delicious Guys'.

Inside, the restaurant truly feels like being invited into an **unforgettably cozy Swiss local hotel**!

We made a reservation and visited at **5:30 PM**, when dinner service begins,
and perhaps because it was a weekend, all the tables inside were full!
If you're visiting on a weekend, **making a reservation in advance is highly recommended**.

La Suisse Seochon is
run by **Chef Roland Hini**, who worked as an executive chef in luxury hotels worldwide for 50 years,
and his wife, sommelier **Kim Young-shim**, a former wine marketer.
They say they bring the traditional home-style cooking methods and philosophy enjoyed in Swiss Bernese farmhouses, presenting honest dishes that highlight the ingredients' natural flavors!
La Suisse Seochon Menu

The 4-course set menu is **~$50 per person**,
while à la carte options allow you to extensively enjoy **Swiss home-style dishes** like Raclette cheese, cheese fondue, Rösti, Knöpfli cheese pasta, pork sirloin steak, Nusstorte, and more.
We visited with **five people** and ordered as follows!

First up, the appetizer bread!
It felt like simple, rustic meal bread, so it wasn't heavy or overwhelming, which I really liked.
Since it was a family meal after quite some time, we even ordered a glass of wine! Haha.

The very first dish to arrive was the Rösti, a traditional Swiss potato dish!
Rösti is a traditional Swiss dish, similar to a potato pancake, where thinly shredded potatoes are topped with various ingredients like beef, salmon, or sausage.
We opted for the Zurich-style veal tenderloin Rösti with mushroom cream sauce, and the pairing with the potatoes was absolutely wonderful.
The recipe actually looked simpler than I expected, which made me want to try recreating it at home!

Next up, ordered as an appetizer, was the Quinoa Lentil Salad.
It featured fresh baby greens, with quinoa and lentils served together, almost like small meatballs.
The cherry tomatoes, ricotta cheese, and refreshing dressing were perfect for whetting our appetites!

Next was the Eggplant Tomato Gratin!
I'm a big fan of tomato-sauce based vegetable stews like Ratatouille, so even though it was a familiar taste, I absolutely savored every bite!
The harmony of eggplant, tomato sauce, and cheese was simply superb.

This was another dish I was really looking forward to: the Swiss cheese pasta, Knöpfli!
Short pasta swimming in a rich cheese sauce, topped with crispy bacon and fried onions – it was a truly unique combination!
Uniquely, apple mousse sauce was served alongside it. I questioned if it would pair well, but surprisingly, the cheese and apple mousse created a delightful harmony!
It was a dish that paired incredibly well with red wine!

And finally, the Schwein Kotelett, a delicious Pork Loin Steak!
It was a bone-in pork loin steak served with mushroom cream sauce,
accompanied by Knöpfli pasta, sauerkraut, and a variety of vegetable garnishes.
It could have easily been an overly rich combination, but the refreshing sauerkraut perfectly balanced everything, creating a delightful harmony!

If you participate in their review event, you can also get a free dessert! :)
We opted for the Bündner Nusstorte, a traditional Swiss caramel walnut tart.
It was a pie baked with walnut caramel in a rich butter pastry dough. It wasn't overly sweet but wonderfully nutty and satisfying, making it the perfect grand finale to our meal.

As we were leaving, I noticed that the terrace seating had also filled up completely.
Even though we ordered à la carte, the dishes arrived one by one, allowing us to savor them like a full course meal at La Suisse Seochon! :)
Since you can savor Swiss home-style cuisine that's truly a rare find in Korea, I highly recommend ordering a variety of dishes and sharing them among your group! It's also perfect for family gatherings, just like ours! :)
All five of us—my parents, sibling, and husband—had an incredibly satisfying meal at La Suisse Seochon.
