With a close friend's
birthday coming up,
and my own craving for a little "me-time"
away from my daily routine,
I decided to head out with some friends
for a cozy 2-day, 1-night staycation.
We spent so much time debating
where to book our stay!
As the years go by,
driving feels like more of a chore,
so instead of traveling far,
we wanted somewhere with easy public transit
and great walkability.
That’s why Myeongdong—bursting with life,
endless shopping, and diverse things to do—
immediately came to mind!
So, for this staycation,
we chose L7 Myeongdong by Lotte,
located right in front of the subway station.
Let me share my honest, firsthand review
of our stay at Seoul's L7 Myeongdong by Lotte
in detail!

located right outside Myeongdong Station Exit 9,
making it incredibly convenient and accessible.
Just a short walk away,
you'll find Shinsegae Department Store and Myeongdong Market,
so there are endless things to shop for and see,
and since Euljiro 4-ga Station is also close by,
you can explore Instagram-famous cafes
and trendy hotspots
to experience the unique "Hipjiro" vibe~
There is just so much to see and do around here, right?
Here is the hotel lobby entrance on the 1st floor.
Isn't the interior design so chic?
The check-in desk is up on the 3rd floor!

Hotel Check-in
They have self-service kiosks set up
for quick and easy check-in and check-out!
We needed to change our room due to an extra guest,
so we spoke with the staff at the reception desk,
and thankfully, they were able to make the change for us~
To the left of the check-in desk,
there's the Bubble Lounge~
It's a guest lounge area,
perfect for taking a quick break if you have some spare time.
Inside the Bubble Lounge,
there is a smart, unmanned convenience store~
If you need single-use items like toothpaste and toothbrushes,
or just some quick snacks,
you don't even have to step outside!
You can easily purchase them from
the unmanned store (MAXI BAR), so keep that in mind~!
We were assigned a room on the 18th floor.
Even the key card has a premium, classy feel :)
Myeongdong L7 Hotel Room Review
[ Standard Family Twin Room ]
The room we stayed in
was the Standard Family Twin Room.
The room is so neat
and has such a modern feel, right? haha
Since there were three of us,
having one double bed and one single bed
made the sleeping space
surprisingly spacious and comfortable~
However,
there wasn't a dedicated space
to fully spread out our luggage,
which was a tiny bit disappointing.
Since it was a triple occupancy room,
bathrobes and slippers
were fully prepared with three of each,
and one complimentary bottle of water was provided per person.
If you're a coffee lover,
be sure to bring the disposable cups from your room
to the L'Coffee station in the 3rd-floor Bubble Lounge
and enjoy some coffee~
You can use the self-service Nespresso machine
for free, 24 hours a day!
The bathroom is a bit on the smaller side, but
since the shower booth has a door,
water didn't splash outside at all!~
Personally,
cleanliness in the bathroom is super important to me,
and it was so well-maintained and spotless
that I was absolutely satisfied! ^-^
As for room amenities,
shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion,
a comb, hair cap, cotton pads, and cotton swabs are provided.
Just keep in mind that facial cleanser, toothbrushes, and toothpaste are not included,
so make sure to pack your own!~

is actually super famous for its rooftop foot spa
featuring stunning views of Namsan Tower!~
But since we were out exploring and having fun,
it was already past 11 PM by the time we got back... so
we decided to head up there early the next morning!

The foot spa
is located on the 21st floor of the hotel~
And best of all, hotel guests
can enjoy it completely free of charge!
When you take the elevator up to the 21st floor,
make sure to use the elevator on the far right!~
We've arrived on the 21st floor!
Rooftop Bar on the right,
and the Foot Spa on the left.
Let's head to the left!

is actually quite spacious, right?
At the washing station,
we'll give our feet a quick rinse
and then dip them right in!~
They have towels ready for you,
so you don't need to bring your own.
Soaking our feet in the warm water
and spacing out while gazing at Namsan Tower~~
With the gentle breeze making us feel so completely relaxed,
we felt so sad that we were only staying
for one night!~
After chatting away and relaxing for a good while,
we started getting hungry, so off we went to check out!
Since we didn't have any extra charges to pay,
we easily completed checkout using the express kiosk.
L7 Myeongdong Hotel Partner Parking
At L7 Myeongdong by Lotte,
the on-site parking is super limited to only 12 spots 😭
You can call the hotel ahead of time
to reserve a spot, but
on Fridays and Saturdays,
reservations aren't allowed at all~

For those of you staying at L7 Myeongdong by Lotte,
I highly recommend parking at the
Seoul Central Post Office Post Tower parking lot!
From L7 Myeongdong,
it's just an 8 to 10-minute walk, so it's super close!
Plus, the parking lot wasn't crowded at all,
so finding a spot was a breeze~

Parking Fee - ~$1 per 10 minutes
Grace Period - Free for the first 10 minutes
While the standard rate at the Post Tower parking lot
is ~$1 per 10 minutes,
guests staying at L7 Myeongdong
get a special rate of ~$8 for a 2-day, 1-night stay.
When you check out,
you must register your license plate
at the L7 Myeongdong lobby
to get the discounted rate applied.
We weren't paying attention and tried
to pay directly at the parking machine,
and were shocked to see the parking fee
come up to ~$70...... haha
Thankfully, we called the hotel right away
and they sorted it out for us smoothly.

Don't forget to register your car at the lobby
and settle the payment there~~ :)
Even though our 1-night stay at L7 Myeongdong by Lotte felt too short,
it was the ultimate healing getaway! :)
Next time, I definitely want to enjoy
the night view of N Seoul Tower from the hotel's rooftop bar!
