When booking a hotel for a business trip,
location is always my top priority.
Leisure trips allow for some flexibility, but
business travel is all about "how easily can I get to and from the airport,
and how close is it to my meeting venues?"
That is exactly why I chose L7 Gangnam by Lotte
for my recent trip to Seoul.
It offers seamless airport transit and
sits incredibly close to my main destination, COEX.
After spending a few nights here, I realized there are plenty of other perks worth sharing,
so let's dive into the details.
Getting Here from Incheon Airport
If you are flying into Incheon International Airport, simply hop on the 6703 Airport Limousine Bus
and get off at the Seolleung Station stop—the hotel is right there.
There is no need to drag heavy luggage through subway transfers or get lost in translation.
You go straight from the airport terminal to the hotel lobby entrance.
When you are exhausted from a long-haul flight,
this seamless transit option is an absolute lifesaver.
The one-way fare for the 6703 limousine bus was ~$12.
Keep in mind that bus arrival times can occasionally run about 20 minutes behind schedule depending on traffic.

Prime Location (1-Min Walk to Seolleung Station, Steps from COEX)
📍 L7 Gangnam by Lotte
415 Teheran-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul
The hotel is a mere 1-minute walk from Seolleung Station (Line 2 and Suin-Bundang Line).
Because Seolleung is a major transfer station,
getting to Gangnam, Samseong, or any other major hub is incredibly fast.
Plus, with COEX just a stone's throw away,
I was able to enjoy a relaxed morning routine before my events.
It is an ideal base for anyone attending conventions or exhibitions in Samseong-dong.
Perhaps that is why the lobby was constantly buzzing with international business travelers.

The Guest Rooms (Compact, but the Views Save the Day)
To be completely honest, the rooms are not exceptionally spacious.
However, the ultra-clean layout and the massive floor-to-ceiling windows
prevented the space from feeling cramped or claustrophobic.

The housekeeping was absolutely flawless,
and the soundproofing was top-tier.
You can choose between a peaceful Seolleung Royal Tombs Park view or a vibrant Teheran-ro city view.
If you want a quiet, green escape, go for the park; if you love dazzling nightscapes, the city view is a must.
One of my colleagues initially noticed a faint cigarette smell in their room,
but the front desk staff was incredibly accommodating and
promptly moved them to a fresh room without any hassle.

Here is a quick tip to keep in mind: As part of their eco-friendly green campaign, the hotel does not provide disposable toothbrushes or toothpaste. You can purchase them from a vending machine on the 9th floor, but I highly recommend bringing your own. On a sweet note, they gifted me a Coach cosmetics sample at check-in, along with a cute welcome box of Pepero chocolate sticks.

Modern Facilities and Tech-Savvy Service
What makes this place feel like a truly modern, forward-thinking hotel
is its seamless integration of technology and lifestyle amenities.
Up on the 9th floor "Frontier" lobby, the self-check-in kiosks make arrivals a breeze.

The fitness center features a StairMaster (stepmill), which let me squeeze in a serious cardio session during my trip. There is also a 24-hour coin laundry room and a business center right next to it—perfect for long-term stays.

The 10th floor is dedicated to relaxation. The Floating Bar & Lounge is a fantastic spot to wind down with a craft cocktail after a busy day. They also have an outdoor foot spa (closed during the winter season) and a breakfast buffet at Floating Restaurant (approx. ~$20 for adults), though I skipped breakfast this time.

The service was incredibly convenient. When I requested extra cutlery, a sleek delivery robot brought it straight to my door, navigating the elevator all on its own!
For ~$128 to ~$160 a night, you get an unbeatable location 1 minute from the station, proximity to COEX, stunning high-rise views, a gym, and coin laundry. It is hard to find a better package in Gangnam. Rates fluctuate depending on the season, so be sure to check current pricing.
