A Surprisingly Spacious & Animal-Friendly Park

Having been to major spots like Seoul Children's Grand Park and Everland, we didn't have massive expectations for a regional zoo. However...

The zoo area itself felt much larger and more open than Seoul Children's Grand Park. You can tell they emphasize a more eco-friendly, natural environment, giving the animals significantly larger spaces to roam.

Sometimes, seeing animals in cramped, outdated cages can be disheartening, but the spacious enclosures here made the experience much more pleasant and ethical.

We got to see elephants up close, along with hippos, tigers, raccoons, meerkats, ring-tailed lemurs, ponies, and llamas. They even have unique species like coatis and Asian black bears, which you don't often see in other zoos.

Even as adults, we found ourselves completely fascinated by the variety of wildlife! :)

Dreamland & Smart Route Hacks

While the official map suggests a counter-clockwise route...

We figured that on a sunny spring holiday, the adjacent Dreamland amusement park would get crowded fast. So, we decided to hack the route!

We stopped by the elephant enclosure first, then headed straight to Dreamland. Thanks to our early arrival, we hopped onto the rides with almost zero wait time!

After enjoying the rides, we walked clockwise to explore the rest of the zoo at a very relaxed pace.

By planning our route this way, we enjoyed a completely stress-free visit from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
