Serving freshly stone-ground mung bean pancakes,
along with whole butter-grilled squid and
king butter-grilled shrimp,
that's Yanggane Nokdujeon for you!
Why bother with Gwangjang Market in Seoul?
Eat right here in Nambu Market instead! 🤤
One of Yanggane's biggest advantages is that it's not just a street stall;
they have an actual store where you can sit down and enjoy your meal!
On really humid and hot days,
eating standing or sitting outside can make the food lose its appeal.
But Yanggane Nokdujeon has air conditioning! 🧊

The moment you step inside, the air feels completely different.
Everyone who walks in opens the door and exclaims, "Ah, I can breathe!"
"Oh, this is so refreshing!"
Their relieved comments are pretty hilarious. 😂

I remember eating at Yanggane Nokdujeon when I first visited Jeonju and explored the night market extensively.
Back then, it was an outdoor stall, not a store. When I asked the owner about it,
they were incredibly delighted to hear my story.
I wonder if there's anyone from Jeonju who hasn't tried their food? ☺️

Yanggane Nokdujeon Menu Review

They kindly guided us to the cool interior,
and soon after, our dishes arrived!
There were more customers getting takeout,
and I felt a little sad for them...
It's so hot outside, everyone!
You can even bring in outside food to enjoy here,
so please, come eat inside! 🤎

Glistening butter-grilled squid and
crispy, golden-brown mung bean pancakes.
Can you believe these mung bean pancakes are only ~$5?
The value is insane when you think about it!

We also added the King Butter-Grilled Shrimp! 🦐🦐🦐🦐🦐🦐

How about a mung bean pancake 'samhap' (three-way combo)?
Stack your mung bean pancake with squid, shrimp, and onion for the perfect bite!

I don't need anyone to peel my shrimp for me;
I'm perfectly capable of peeling my own! Mmm!
