Beat the heat in Jeonju Hanok Village! Explore Lahan Hotel Jeonju's delightful Hanokdang cafe, family-friendly pools, and the serene Hanok Library for an unforgettable 2026 trip.

Hey there, fellow travelers!
Is the summer heat getting to you in Jeonju Hanok Village today, August 3, 2026?
Then you absolutely *have* to visit Hanokdang!
They've got a fruit bingsu that's absolutely perfect for this scorching 2026 summer weather.
Even better, you get 3 hours of free parking! Don't waste energy walking around in the heat; park at Lahan Hotel and head straight to Hanokdang!
You can customize it with raspberry jam, honey, and sweet red bean paste. I'm not a huge fan of overly sweet things, so I skipped the honey and red bean, but my kids absolutely devoured the honey! Haha!

Those adorable, cube-shaped pieces? They're a delightful combination of strawberry jam and chewy rice cake.
Doesn't it look just like a beautiful bibimbap, but as a refreshing bingsu?
Considering the free parking, it's an incredible value!

Plus, the traditional hanok view from the cafe is simply stunning.
While everyone else is huffing and puffing in the heat, why not cool off and enjoy this serene spot?

Honestly, kids just can't resist a swimming pool!
I'm not sure why they love water so much, but a hotel pool is an absolute must-have during the summer months!
Parents, worried about tiring yourselves out playing in the water? No worries! There's a separate kiddie pool, so you can relax while keeping an eye on the little ones.

My child was torn between the adult and kiddie pools, but having tubes available means they can play comfortably! You'll even see some folks with larger floats.
Since it's a hotel pool, there's a certain price point, which means it's usually not overly crowded.
If you're looking for a comfortable hotel staycation, the Lahan Hotel pool comes highly recommended!

This is the Jeonju Hanok Village Library, home to a charming neighborhood cat named Hodu!
While Deokjin Park's Yeonhwajeong Library is quite grand, this one is small and cozy – a true hidden gem.
It's wonderfully cool inside, but remember that outside drinks aren't allowed!

I was delighted to find so many books for children too.
There's even a guestbook – why not leave a short message about your visit?
It's closed every Monday and operates from 9 AM to 6 PM.
I highly, highly recommend it, especially when it's hot outside!

Hanokdang's Bibimbap Bingsu can be enjoyed with raspberry jam, honey, and red bean paste. What looks like 'kkakdugi' (diced radish kimchi) is actually a combination of strawberry jam and rice cake. If you park at Lahan Hotel, you can get 3 hours of free parking.
Lahan Hotel's swimming pool has a separate kids' pool for children, and you can comfortably enjoy water play with tubes. The prices are generally on the higher side, so it tends to be less crowded.
Jeonju Hanok Village Library is closed every Monday and operates from 9 AM to 6 PM. Please note that bringing beverages inside the library is not allowed.
