While it would have been even more spectacular to arrive when the showcase was fully stocked, my patience simply couldn't wait.

On my visit, you could find both a Fig Cake and a refreshing Summer Pavlova. If it weren't for my aversion to bananas, I would have ordered both! Browsing their past dessert lineups, which included cherry blossom mochi, verrines, tarts, cakes, and parfaits, made me so sad thinking about all the delicious treats I'd missed out on... I ordered the Pineapple Jasmine, the essential Iced Americano to pair with any dessert, and, of course, the star of the show: the Fig dessert.

It's funny, I grew up with a fig tree in our yard, and back then, I barely gave them a second glance, even when the whole neighborhood was enjoying the most luscious figs. Now, seeing how much fresh figs cost, I truly appreciate them as a luxury!

This perfect dessert featured an almond dacquoise base, cinnamon ganache montée cream, wine-infused fig compote, fresh figs, and was topped with a delicate cinnamon sablé cookie. It was pure bliss! I wasn't sure how to cut it elegantly, but I managed to slice it in half with surprising ease.

I devoured it in big bites, and the coffee almost became an afterthought! But the Pineapple Jasmine was wonderfully refreshing, and the Iced Americano was perfectly smooth and nutty.

As I was leaving, I noticed they also had freshly prepared Portuguese-style egg tarts! You can even make reservations for them through Naver (a local booking platform).
