In Seogwipo, Jeju Island,
the hottest spot right now is none other than
Jeju Waterworld!
As a Jeju local,
I used to go there often for swimming and jjimjilbang (Korean spa)
back when it was a **water park**.
Now, the **atmosphere has completely changed**,
transforming into an exhibition space where you can experience
**real water and media** together ( ˘ ³˘)♥

What's more, currently, the **One Piece Great Pirate Era Asia Tour**
is underway at **Jeju Waterworld**,
so if you're a **fan of One Piece**, it's definitely worth adding to your
**Jeju travel itinerary** :)
I visited with my mom and sibling, and it was more fun than I expected! Instead of just observing an exhibition,
you actually get to walk on water and
**experience scenes from One Piece** firsthand.

Let's break down everything from **Jeju Waterworld prices, booking, and discount methods**
to my personal review.

Plus, it's perfect to visit when there's a football match on Jeju Island.

0 | 3 | Water-based exhibition, what about clothes? |

What makes Jeju Waterworld a little different from other media art exhibitions
is the water.
It's called WATERWORLD for a reason, right?
Waterworld is an immersive exhibition that combines real water with media technology.
There's actual water on the floor and throughout the space,
with videos and lighting projected over it.

Upon entry, you'll be guided by staff, your tickets will be checked,
you'll store your shoes and valuables in a locker,
and then the main exhibition begins.
There are also sections where you directly enter the water,
and when I visited, the water depth was
around 0.3m.
It's not particularly deep,
but water can splash onto your clothes more than you might expect.

It's a good idea to wear shorts or clothes that are okay to get wet
+ Or you can change there.
If you're going with kids,
it would be much more comfortable to bring a swimsuit, a change of clothes, and a towel.

Towels for drying your feet
are provided on-site.
If you don't want to get splashed,
bringing a light raincoat is also an option :)

There are so many little touches like these everywhere,
it truly made a fan's heart flutter!
0 | 4 | Jeju Waterworld ONE PIECE Grand Era Asia Tour Review |

First, everyone watches a ONE PIECE video together.
Watching the opening scene of ONE PIECE before entering,
it definitely built up the excitement!
I haven't watched ONE PIECE much lately,
It truly felt like I was transported back to my younger self, reliving those incredible moments from the anime!
What really got me excited was
the ability to move through spaces in episode order!

Major One Piece sagas like Alabasta, Skypiea, Impel Down, Marineford,
Fish-Man Island and more
all seamlessly connect.

If you're a long-time fan of One Piece,
you'll have an absolute blast recognizing every single scene.
And honestly, those iconic scenes from Alabasta? I still can't get over them! ㅠ

Especially the section from Impel Down leading to
Ace and Whitebeard's graves –
seeing it brought all those anime scenes rushing back,
and my heart genuinely ached.

With the videos, water, and lighting all moving in sync,
it truly felt like I was navigating the seas of One Piece!

There are also tons of photo-friendly characters and zones,
like Fish-Man Island, Wano Country, and Gear 5 Luffy, just waiting for your camera!
𝟎 | 𝟓 | Is it still fun even if you don't know One Piece? |

Of course, if you're a fan of One Piece, you'll absolutely adore Jeju Waterworld even more.
But even if you haven't watched One Piece,
it's still a place you can absolutely enjoy! :-)

With actual videos unfolding right on the water
and the space itself being so incredibly vibrant,
walking on water through the exhibition was an experience that made it even more fun!

There's even a space for kids to play, like a ball pit, and interactive activities that get you moving.
It's a bit different from a typical media art exhibition
where you just quietly observe the works.

It's great that kids aren't just tagging along with their parents; they actually get to try out various things themselves.
But honestly, even as an adult, I had a blast!

Inside Jeju Waterworld,
you'll also find plenty of photo zones featuring One Piece characters.
It's not just for photos, but also for creating Reels or Shorts like
It's also fantastic for capturing those quick video moments.

Since it's indoors, you won't have to worry about the unpredictable Jeju weather,
which is a bigger advantage than you might imagine.
If rain decides to grace your Jeju adventure,
it can be tricky trying to find a place to go on the fly, right?
That's when this spot in Seogwipo is perfect to add to your itinerary.
It's a fantastic indoor option to enjoy for an hour or two.

After you've fully explored Jeju Waterworld,
you can browse the amazing One Piece merchandise
and even venture into the themed cafe.

Perhaps because Waterworld once housed a public bathhouse, jjimjilbang (Korean spa), and water park,
some of its original structure remains, giving it a truly unique ambiance.
As a result, the atmosphere here is distinct from your typical cafe.
Between soaking in the exhibition, snapping photos,
and exploring all the merchandise,
you'll find time flies by surprisingly fast!

Don't miss the chance to try the unique snacks available only here,
like the 'Gomu Gomu no Mi' (Gum-Gum Fruit) and 'Mera Mera no Mi' (Flare-Flare Fruit) treats!
They're a must-try!
If you're a Jeju local, make sure to bring your ID
to snag a 20% on-site discount.
For everyone else, it’s a smart move to purchase your tickets in advance online rather than at the door :-)

And since this is an exhibition where you actually step into the water,
it's a good idea to wear shorts or clothes you don't mind getting wet for maximum comfort.
If you're traveling with kids,
it's even better to pack a change of clothes and a small towel :)

If you're exploring places to visit near the Seogwipo World Cup Stadium in Jeju,
then Jeju Waterworld One Piece Great Pirate Era is a fantastic destination.
For me, revisiting key One Piece episodes
within a tangible space was truly enjoyable, but
what truly stood out was the experience of walking directly on the water.
That's what really stayed with me :)

One Piece fans will find it even more exhilarating,
and it's definitely a worthwhile spot for a Jeju family trip itinerary with kids.
It's running until January 3, 2027, so if you're heading to Jeju, make sure to add it to your list :-)
