The Road Home
Rain started pattering down since early morning.
(Thankfully, it was our day to fly back to Incheon!)
Today, we packed our bags and left them at the lobby,
and then headed for today's breakfast!
Haha, a day truly begins with breakfast, doesn't it?
My husband and I loaded up our plates with gusto,
but our eldest daughter felt a bit nauseous from the smell.
(The dining hall where we had breakfast always had a faint cafeteria-like smell.)
So, our eldest just had some juice,
while my husband and I happily ate our fill.
Again today,
my favorite combination of toast, scrambled eggs, sausage,
and salad hit the spot. The sweet and sour pork (tangsuyuk) was also quite good!
I wanted to eat more today,
but my eldest daughter wasn't feeling well, unfortunately.
After breakfast, when we came out,
the lobby was already bustling with people.
With the rain falling, it looked like a major departure day for many package tour guests.
The tour bus dropped us off at the airport.
Our guide had already processed our mobile boarding passes and sent them via KakaoTalk,
so those who had ordered rice cakes just went to pick them up,
and we just exchanged goodbyes.
Fearing we might be late like when we arrived from Incheon,
we moved a bit faster this time.
Perhaps because it was Jeju Airport, or maybe just less crowded,
we reached our boarding gate quite quickly.
Our return flight was with Jeju Air,
and we took a shuttle bus directly to the plane.
The rain was just a light drizzle.
Then, it was time to board our flight
and head back to Incheon!!!
After landing at Incheon Airport,
we took the Airport Railroad to Gyeyang Station.
(It was just one stop, and the kids used disposable transit cards.)
I didn't manage to snap a photo of the Gyeyang Station public parking lot, though, haha.
Coming here, it was raining,
and going home, we were just exhausted, lol.
The parking fee for four days came out to ~$17.
We decided to grab lunch before heading straight home,
so we had some Budae Jjigae (Korean sausage stew) at Artforet,
and then made a quick stop at Paik's Coffee.
It was said that the breakfast restaurant had a smell similar to a school cafeteria. My elder daughter only drank juice because of the smell, but I enjoyed the toast, scrambled eggs, sausages, salad, and sweet and sour pork.
The guide conveniently sent the mobile boarding passes via KakaoTalk in advance. Jeju Airport wasn't very crowded, so we quickly reached the boarding gate, and then took a bus to the airplane with Jeju Air.
Upon arriving at Incheon Airport, I took the Airport Railroad one stop to Gyeyang Station. I used the Gyeyang Station public parking lot, and the total parking fee for 4 days was ~$17.
