Stay A Jeju Gujwa-eup Review 2026: Private Jacuzzi Villa
Discover Stay A, a charming private jacuzzi villa in Gujwa-eup, Jeju. Perfect for couples seeking a peaceful, authentic Jeju getaway with comfort and privacy.
Hey there, fellow travelers!
When I'm planning a trip to Jeju, one of the most important things I look for in accommodation is that authentic 'Jeju charm'🤍
Especially if you're planning a winter getaway to Jeju, I find myself gravitating towards jacuzzi villas where you can soak in warm water and enjoy a peaceful, quiet escape.
As the weather starts to get cooler, I wanted to recommend a place that offers that perfect blend of Jeju's unique atmosphere and a cozy spot to warm up.
Last winter when I visited Jeju, the place I chose was Stay A.
It's an especially great recommendation for anyone looking for accommodation in Gujwa-eup!

⏰ Check-in: 4:00 PM / Check-out: 11:00 AM

👫 Maximum 3 guests / Private villa perfectly suited for 2 travelers

I visited during winter, and I discovered this place while searching for a private jacuzzi villa in Jeju where I could stay warm despite the cold weather.
The backdrop of traditional stone walls in front of the property truly enhanced its unique Jeju charm.
What I especially loved is that Stay A operates with two separate units, A and B, making it perfect for a truly private and undisturbed stay.
It's located on Handong-ro 6-gil in Gujwa-eup, Jeju City, which I found to be an excellent spot for planning explorations of eastern Jeju.
It was also easy to find, even by taxi, making arrival a breeze.

STAY A features a connected living room and kitchen, a comfortable bedroom, a modern bathroom, and even an outdoor jacuzzi with a private garden.

The overall interior was clean and exuded a relaxed, spacious vibe, making it not only beautiful for photos but also incredibly comfortable for simply unwinding indoors.
I particularly recommend a private villa like this if you're traveling to Jeju as a couple.
The biggest advantage is having a quiet, private space just for yourselves, unlike shared accommodations where you might have to consider other guests!

And the biggest reason I chose Stay A?
It was the outdoor jacuzzi🫧
While Jeju's winter winds can make it a bit chilly to stay outside for too long, soaking in the warm water was absolutely heavenly.
You can access the private garden directly from your room, and both the jacuzzi and garden are exclusively for guests of your unit, ensuring ultimate comfort and privacy.
Please note that the jacuzzi is available for use once per day, and bath bombs are not permitted, so it's a good idea to keep this in mind before booking!

The kitchen is equipped with a sink, refrigerator, microwave, kettle, and basic tableware, and you can also enjoy capsule coffee.
However, there's no induction or gas stove, so it's better suited for light meals and snacks rather than elaborate cooking during your trip.

The amenities provided are Molton Brown products, including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Please note that toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so remember to bring your own.

There are plenty of great restaurants nearby, so after dinner and our jacuzzi session, we felt a bit hungry and ordered some late-night chicken delivery.
We spent the evening watching a movie on the beam projector🩶

The next morning, we woke up and enjoyed breakfast.
Stay A's breakfast was absolutely perfect!

The owner's meticulous care was evident throughout the stay, and with such a delicious breakfast provided, it's no wonder many guests choose to stay for extended periods.
Breakfast is delivered to your room at 8:30 AM, and the time cannot be changed, so if you have early morning plans, please keep this in mind!
While Stay A is primarily booked through specific local platforms, it might not be directly eligible for some general booking promotions or third-party coupons you might find elsewhere.
There are quite a few charming private villas, jacuzzi accommodations, and Gujwa-eup stays near Stay A.
If I were planning a trip to eastern Jeju, I'd definitely consider this area for my accommodation search🤍
🚗 Rental Cars for Your Jeju Trip?
Jeju Island is quite expansive, so if you want to explore various tourist attractions, renting a car is a great option.
Especially if you're planning to visit multiple spots in eastern Jeju, such as Gujwa-eup, Woljeong-ri, and Seongsan, a rental car will make getting around much more convenient.
Conversely, if your trip focuses only on Jeju City or major attractions with minimal travel between them, using buses or taxis is also a viable option.
For international travelers planning to rent a car in Jeju, it's highly recommended to check and prepare all necessary documents in advance, such as your International Driving Permit (IDP) and passport.
