Jeju Starbill Glamping Review 2026: Family Fun & Luxury Retreat

My review of Jeju Starville, my absolute favorite accommodation from this trip!

What if it's not comfortable for my dad?

What if we get bored just staying inside?

What if the glamping accommodation fee doesn't feel worth it?

I had many worries, but it turned out to be incredibly satisfying, because...

It perfectly captured the **glamping vibe of sleeping in a tent**,

while offering **facilities comparable to a 5-star hotel**,

and there were so many **diverse activities** that even a 2-day, 1-night stay felt too short.

Starville Jeju, located right at the foot of Hallasan.

While it might not be the best location for sightseeing all over the island,

it's absolutely perfect **if you want to immerse yourself deeply in Jeju's (제주도) nature**.

* On your check-in or check-out day,

if you visit Camellia Hill or O'sulloc Tea Museum,

the itinerary works perfectly!

The price range is certainly on the higher side,

but when you consider it, it's on par with a **private pool villa pension in Jeju**,

and you get to use facilities like a **swimming pool, fishing pond, and stargazing areas**,

so honestly, it's hard to call it expensive.

Having experienced it myself, I can definitely see why it's priced that way!

Now, let's begin the full review of Jeju Starville, which perfectly balances glamping charm and convenience!

We stayed in the Canvas 6m x 7m room,

and in person, it felt more like glamping compared to the Yurts.

The rooms were truly far apart, offering great privacy,

and with a hammock, tent chairs, and a table in front of the tent,

you could really get the **authentic glamping experience**.

Honestly, it didn't really feel like a tent at all,

It was closer to a cabin-like atmosphere, which might be a bit disappointing for those who prefer something a bit more rugged.

But from my perspective, taking my dad along, I absolutely loved how clean and comfortable it was.

The room I stayed in had three queen beds, and there were curtains in front of the beds, so we could maintain our privacy.

We're a family of four, so we didn't use the second floor, but it looked safe with the stairs and frame completely blocked off by netting : )

What surprised me the most was the shower room.

Honestly, since it was a tent, I didn't have high expectations,

but there was plenty of space to hang clothes right in front of the bathroom, and it was so clean that I was really impressed.

Even my sister, who is sensitive about cleanliness, gave it her approval!

Plus, they deliver both breakfast and dinner right to your room, which is incredibly convenient because you don't have to go far with kids or elderly parents.

Of course, meal charges are separate, but the service was so good that I felt it was worth every penny.

Especially the Canvas room I stayed in is getting booked up fast, even for weekdays a month from now,

so if you're planning a trip to Jeju Island (제주도), check for available rooms first!

I'll be doing a separate post on the amenities, but here's a brief review of the key highlights!

To get straight to the point... there's so much to do inside Starvill that one night and two days isn't nearly enough; you'll never have a dull moment.

First up, the swimming pool!

I knew there was a pool, but I also discovered there's an indoor heated pool, a dry sauna, and a hot spring.

Our late check-in meant we could only swim for a short time, which was a huge regret.

The indoor sports facilities are also quite spacious,

offering everything from mini-golf, chess, and table tennis to badminton.

Honestly, I feel like I could spend half a day just inside here.

And finally, the much-anticipated stargazing and campfire time!

Roasting marshmallows inside the accommodation, feeling like we're camping in comfortable clothes,

and being able to see the moon through a celestial telescope

made it feel like we were in another world.
