Looking for that perfect Instagram-worthy shot in Jeju Island? I recently visited Siroco Cafe (시로코), a fantastic spot near Jeju Airport (제주공항) where you can capture incredible photos with both stunning ocean and dramatic airplane views.

The views were just as beautiful as I'd seen on social media, and beyond the main photo zones, every corner of the cafe exuded a stylish and aesthetic vibe, making it a wonderful place to relax and spend some quality time.

Siroco Cafe is conveniently located about a 7-minute drive from Jeju Airport. It's also right by Yongdudam (용두담) and the Rainbow Coastal Road (무지개 해안도로), making it easy to combine your visit with these scenic spots for a perfect day out.

The cafe has its own dedicated parking lot right in front, and there's plenty of space, so parking was a breeze.

Siroco Cafe operates across two floors, each offering a distinct charm.

The first floor has different vibes in each section, making it fun to explore. I felt that even without the famous airplane photo zone, this cafe would still be incredibly popular for its stylish ambiance alone!

Heading up to the second floor, I immediately spotted the famous photo zone I'd seen all over social media. During my summer visit, it was covered with a tablecloth, but I heard that for the colder months, they switch to a cozy kotatsu setup (a low table with a heater underneath, covered by a heavy blanket). I'd love to experience the kotatsu next winter!

Behind the main photo zone, there was a subtly luxurious atmosphere with velvet sofas and marble tables. There were also unique and cozy seats built into the window railings, offering a different kind of charm.

There were also outdoor tables, but they're likely removed during the windy fall and winter months.

This spot is exclusively dedicated as a photo zone, so you don't have to worry about rushing or "open-running" to get a seat. You can comfortably sit and take your pictures!

However, getting the perfect shot with a plane was actually harder than I expected. The timing of the planes passing isn't consistent, so you might have to wait a while. Plus, they fly quite high, making it tricky to get the right angle.

Since the planes fly over the cafe, it's crucial *not* to stand up when taking photos. You need to tilt your camera as low as possible. This helps capture the airplane in the frame and ensures you get a clear ocean view without any roads in the foreground. It's funny because in person, the planes felt surprisingly close, but in photos, they look so far away! 👀

While the photo zone is the most famous, the window seats right next to it are also quite beautiful. Although it's difficult to get a plane in the shot from these seats, they're perfect for capturing stunning ocean view photos.

And here's a little secret: if you slightly adjust your angle from the photo zone, you'll see the building in front of the cafe instead of the ocean. This view has a distinct European feel, offering another unique opportunity for incredible photos!

The coffee was smooth and delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly, making for a truly pleasant visit.
