Seopjikoji Dining Gem
Mulmanong (물마농) Location: Right by the Ocean

Mulmanong is conveniently located just a 5-minute drive from Seopjikoji (섭지코지)! Our itinerary that day had us heading straight to Seopjikoji after lunch, so the location was absolutely perfect.

Situated right along Hwanhaejangseong-ro, the coastal road, it's super easy to pull over while enjoying a scenic drive. We even arrived a bit before opening and took a leisurely stroll and a short drive along the road.

As expected from its coastal location, Mulmanong is an ocean-view restaurant! While the interior and ambiance aren't exactly modern, the expansive windows looking out onto the Jeju (제주) sea create a bright and airy dining space.
Jeju Black Pork Cutlet and Seafood Ramen:
The Only Spot Offering Both!
My dad was visiting Jeju for the first time since his honeymoon, so I was keen to find some unique local delicacies. Our picks for the day were black pork cutlet and seafood ramen. Interestingly, Mulmanong (물마농) was the *only* restaurant near Seopjikoji (섭지코지) that served both!

Mulmanong also offers a diverse menu, including Bomal Kalguksu (sea snail noodle soup) and the Volcanic Burger. This variety attracts all sorts of diners; in fact, the group that arrived before us included three generations, from grandparents to grandchildren. It’s an ideal spot when everyone in your party has different cravings.

Mulmanong (물마농) Review
Black Pork Cutlet is a Must-Try!
Honestly, I went in expecting the seafood ramen to be the star, but I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the black pork cutlet was. If you try nothing else, the cutlet is highly recommended!

The **pork cutlet** is served on a large stone plate, giving it a classic Western-style presentation. It comes with a side of old-school cabbage salad, french fries, and ketchup.
Though the large plate might make the cutlet appear smaller, it’s actually much larger than an average man's hand and quite thick.

I usually prefer my pork cutlet sauce on the side to keep the breading crispy, but what's amazing about Mulmanong's (물마농) is that even with the sauce poured over, it remained incredibly delicious! It wasn't greasy or heavy, and the meat itself was so tender and flavorful, I just kept wanting more. I'd honestly revisit just for this cutlet.

Next up, our **Seafood Ramen**. The presentation was fantastic, but perhaps my expectations were too high, as it was just okay for my taste. The broth felt a little bland. Of course, taste is subjective, so others might find it perfectly delicious.

Despite my personal preference for the broth, the ramen was loaded with seafood like octopus, shrimp, mussels, and even crab, so I didn't feel like it was a waste of money. Plus, instead of regular ramen noodles, they used jjampong-style noodles, which I actually preferred.
Mulmanong (물마농) Parking & Pet-Friendly Policy

If you're planning a visit to Mulmanong (물마농), there's a parking lot available behind the restaurant. While it's not huge, you should find ample space if you avoid peak hours.

Good news for pet owners: Mulmanong is pet-friendly! They even have resident cats, so keep that in mind when you visit.

While the seafood ramen didn't quite hit the mark for me, Mulmanong (물마농) was a delightful experience overall, offering delicious Jeju Black Pork Cutlet with stunning views of the Jeju sea. If you're exploring the east side of Jeju Island and looking for a restaurant near Seopjikoji (섭지코지) that serves both black pork cutlet and seafood ramen, I highly recommend Mulmanong!
