Located in Cheongsu-ri, Hangyeong-myeon on Jeju Island,
this incredibly unique place
is Sanyang Keuneonggot forest trail!
Sanyang Keuneonggot is a stunning Gotjawal forest path
where plants from both the northernmost
and southernmost boundaries coexist.
It's a beautiful forest trail where you can even spot wild roe deer,
stretching about 3.5 km and taking around an hour to explore.

It took about 50 minutes
by rental car from Jeju City.

Since it was a slightly rainy day,
the forest felt even more magical and atmospheric.

Right as you step inside the entrance,
you are greeted by a dense forest
and a beautifully paved,
easy-to-walk path.

It takes about an hour to complete the walk,
and breathing in the fresh forest air
while snapping photos was absolutely wonderful.

A perfect forest bath!
The air here is incredibly crisp and clean.

It feels like a cozy, secret forest—
almost like my own private sanctuary.
It was incredibly healing,
and there are so many gorgeous photo spots!

I even saw some soon-to-be newlyweds
taking their wedding photos here.
Capturing unique and romantic moments
surrounded by nature must be so memorable.
If I visit Jeju Island again,
I would absolutely love to do a photoshoot here!

There's also a traditional wooden cart experience!

You can also ride on this horse to look around,

and there are some super cute chairs, too!

The wooden cabin and
the tiny monkey details are so adorable.

There's even a spot shaped like a little squirrel wheel,

and a cozy little forest coffee shop,

along with rabbits and other friendly animals.
I even saw two very affectionate bunnies cuddling!

And look at this cute little pony!

You can also sit back and relax under the shade of the trees.
The rich, earthy scent of damp soil
blends so beautifully with the sound of the wind,
making you feel like you've stepped
straight into another world.
The lush, vibrant green of the Gotjawal forest
is just absolutely wonderful!

Once you open the door,
a railway track unfolds before your eyes!

It is incredibly beautiful and magical.
I can't believe a place like this actually exists!

We got to see so many different plant species.
It was truly a wonderful experience.

From tiny little mushrooms
to a miniature cabin
where fairies might actually live,
this forest is so beautifully decorated
it feels just like a fairytale.
With its dreamy, mystical vibe
and endless picture-perfect spots,
taking a healing stroll here
made Sanyang Keuneonggot Forest
such a memorable, treasure-like place
to visit.
It takes about 50 minutes to drive from Jeju City to Sanyang Keuneonggot by rental car. The forest trail is 3.5 km long in total, and it takes about 1 hour to explore the entire course.
The admission fee is ~$5 for adults, ~$4 for children and seniors, and ~$3 for Jeju residents, persons with disabilities, and national merit recipients. Operating hours are from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with the last entry at 5:00 PM.
Inside, you can experience an oxcart ride or ride a horse to look around the area. You can also see wild animals like roe deer, as well as rabbits and ponies in the forest.
As you walk along the forest trail, you can find hidden railway tracks by opening a small secret door on the left. Inside the forest, there are many charming spaces such as a wooden cabin and a squirrel wheel-shaped structure, which are often used as locations for wedding snap photography.
