One of the most memorable indoor attractions for me was the Bunker de Lumières.
When I visited, they were showcasing a Van Gogh exhibit, and the immersive experience was far more captivating than any photograph could convey.
With masterpieces projected across every wall and floor, synchronized with evocative music, it truly felt like stepping right into the heart of the artwork.
Best of all, it was a rainy day, making it the perfect excuse to slowly explore indoors without any weather worries. I really appreciated that.

Being entirely indoors, it's completely unaffected by the weather. Plus, if you time your visit with the various show schedules, you'll find yourself spending much more time there than you anticipated.
It's highly recommended for families traveling with children, and it's also a great option for a multi-generational trip with parents or grandparents.
It pairs perfectly with visits to nearby attractions like Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak or Seopjikoji.
They often have evening or late-entry discounts after 4 PM, so be sure to check those out!

Have you ever considered visiting Bijarim Forest on a rainy day?
Initially, I wondered, 'Is it really okay to walk through a forest path in the rain?' But honestly, I ended up loving it even more on a wet day.
The damp earth smell and the fresh, invigorating scent of phytoncides from the forest were incredibly potent. It was such a peaceful and calming experience just walking slowly through the trees.
Plus, with fewer people around, it wasn't crowded at all.
However, there are a few downsides.
When it rains, the paths get wet, so you'll likely sacrifice your shoes to the mud, and the bottom of your pants might get splashed. (You can even walk barefoot if you dare!)
And while the lack of people is a plus, it can also feel a little spooky if you're alone, haha.
Despite these minor inconveniences, it was a truly healing experience that was well worth it.
So, if it's not a heavy downpour, grab an umbrella or simply embrace the rain and take a leisurely stroll.
