1. Visiting Jeju O'sulloc Tea Museum (오설록 티뮤지엄)

As a resident of Seogwipo (서귀포), I often visit O'sulloc Tea Museum, a healing green tea field spot on Jeju (제주), with my older sister from the neighborhood.
There's no separate entrance fee, so locals can visit without any burden, and the prices for various drinks and desserts are reasonable, making it a beloved tourist destination for residents.

This time, I visited O'sulloc Tea Museum and the directly connected Jeju Innisfree House (이니스프리하우스) to pick out holiday gifts from Jeju, lift my spirits, and enjoy a variety of Jeju Island snacks.
I'll also share tips for buying Jeju Island gifts, the locations of the Jeju Island green tea field photo zones, and all the sights and delicious eats at O'sulloc and Innisfree House in detail.
2. O'sulloc Tea Museum Location & Sights

Opened in 2001, it holds special significance as Korea's first 'tea museum'.

This historically significant place transformed the once barren Seogwang Tea Garden (서광다원) into a beautiful tea culture space. Following a recent renovation, it now features more refined exhibition, gift shop, cafe, and dining areas.

The exhibition space allows visitors to learn about the history of O'sulloc and green tea cultivation in Korea, leading directly to the souvenir shop and cafe. For the noodle bar, where you can have a meal, you'll need to head to the outdoor Tea Terrace building.
Upon entering the museum building, which offers free admission, you can take the elevator up to the observatory for expansive views. Inside the gift shop, you can also browse and buy various green tea snacks and different types of tea.

I loved being able to sample various teas. Personally, this Jeju Pure Matcha (제주 순수말차) (₩22,000 (~$16)) really impressed me with its mild, smooth, and incredibly savory flavor.

The various types of tea and snacks, including green tea and floral teas, were packaged so beautifully that they truly sparked my desire to buy them.
If you want to delve deeper into the historical significance and flavors of Jeju's green tea fields at O'sulloc, you can also book a separate Premium Tea Course (₩60,000 (~$45) per person) and visit.

Recently, the Tea Terrace Matcha Noodle Bar space also got a makeover, so many people are coming here to dine.

Their popular menu items, like Matcha Bibim Guksu (₩16,000 (~$12))
and Matcha Bibimbap (₩18,000 (~$13)),
along with unique dishes like grilled tofu, teas, and salads, all utilizing matcha,
were quite unique and special.

It's almost a given to enjoy a Green Tea Soft Serve Ice Cream (₩6,800 (~$5))
at the cafe located within the Tea Museum,

but since we're locals and come here often,
this time we ordered some unique drinks and relaxed.

3. Exploring Innisfree Jeju House (이니스프리하우스)

You don't just have to shop for Jeju Island (제주도) souvenirs
inside the Tea Museum.

If you walk a little further along the path leading to the outdoor green tea fields,
past an exotic outdoor cafe space, carrot fields, and grassy lawns,
you'll encounter the Innisfree House building
with its exotic exterior.

Inside, there's a wide array of experiences,
sights, and delicious treats.
Innisfree Jeju House's interior perfectly captures the lush greenery of nature,
with a unique exterior featuring natural wood and large glass windows.
The interior is spacious and brightly lit, with Jeju Island's green tea field scenery
extending all around, creating an eco-friendly ambiance.
At the internal cafe, you can enjoy brunch menus and
drinks.

While O'sulloc primarily offers green tea-based
drinks and desserts,
Innisfree had a wider selection of refreshing drinks, desserts, and sandwiches
based on tangerines and carrots.

We enjoyed freshly squeezed carrot juice at the newly established, cozy, and exotic
outdoor kitchen. They had a special event where if you bought 2 or more,
each glass was ₩4,000 (~$3), making the price really reasonable.

I noticed many Western visitors enjoying the hotdog set
(Jeju Pork Handmade Hotdog + Cheonggyul Ade (₩12,500 (~$9))) too.
There were so many foreigners around,
it almost felt like *we* locals were on an overseas trip!

Then, we slowly continued our souvenir shopping for Jeju gifts inside the store.
Since I'm a local of Seogwipo and come here often,
I've tried most of the tester products, you know?
Basic cosmetics really depend on personal taste and style,
so even if you try the testers yourself,
I highly recommend giving this one a try!

Personally, I usually find most perfumes
a bit overwhelming, but
this one has such a pleasantly sweet and fresh scent that's not at all off-putting –
it's absolutely perfect for a gift!

O'sulloc's Jeju Island Green Tea Fields are located
across from and around the Tea Museum.
It stretches out widely.
Right next to the Innisfree store (이니스프리매장), there's a Jeju green tea field perfect for taking photos with an *oreum* (오름) in the background. It's convenient for your route if you take pictures there and then head back to the parking lot.
4. Finishing Our Visit to O'sulloc (오설록) and Innisfree (이니스프리)

Even as a local of Seogwipo (서귀포), the Jeju O'sulloc Tea Museum and Jeju Innisfree House are places I visit every time the season changes, always offering a new sense of healing.

In the fresh green tea fields, lush throughout all four seasons, I was able to capture some amazing "life shots" and recharge my energy with delicious Jeju Island (제주도) snacks and refreshing drinks.

It was a more meaningful time as I could also gather some wonderful Jeju souvenirs, like Jeju snacks and tea sets, perfect for thoughtful gifts during holidays or anniversaries.
I hope you get to enjoy a truly emotional and relaxing break amidst this beautiful green nature.
