Jeju Oriental Hotel Review: Affordable 5-Star Twin Room Stay

I recently took a quick trip to Jeju Island, and I'm excited to share my experience staying in a standard twin room at the Jeju Oriental Hotel, an exceptional value 5-star hotel.

1. Location

<Jeju Oriental Hotel>

📍 Location: 47 Tapdong-ro, Samdoi-dong, Jeju-si, Jeju-do

📍 Just a 10-minute drive from Jeju International Airport

📍 Amenities include: Free parking, complimentary Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, fitness center, and more.

The lobby features a casino and a CU convenience store. There's also a GS25 right near the hotel entrance.

It was super convenient for grabbing late-night snacks! 👍🏻

2. Standard Twin Room

I booked the Standard Twin Room for my stay.

The Jeju Oriental Hotel was originally built in 1988 and underwent a renovation in 2014.

While you can definitely see the hotel's age in the building and rooms, this also means the rooms are incredibly spacious, which I loved.

​But because of this, the rooms are wonderfully spacious.

The room was spotless and provided fantastic value for a short trip.

You'll find a TV, safe, and refrigerator in the room.

Robes and slippers are also provided. Essentially, everything you need for a comfortable stay is right there.

3. Bathroom

Here's a look at the bathroom.

The bathroom also shows its age a bit, but it was perfectly clean and well-maintained.

Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, and body lotion are all provided.

A hairdryer, comb, and shower cap are also available.

However, toothbrushes are not provided.

Due to regulations on single-use items in Jeju Island, disposable toothbrushes are not offered. I highly recommend bringing your own!

I grabbed some beer and shrimp crackers from the convenience store. While there's an E-Mart supermarket and various restaurants nearby, I arrived late on my first night and opted for a simple snack.
