Lotte Art Villas Seogwipo Review 2026: Multi-Generational Family Stay
Searching for the perfect Jeju getaway for your whole family? Lotte Art Villas in Seogwipo offers spacious, private villas with luxurious amenities for all ages.

Planning a multi-generational family trip with my 70-something parents and a two-year-old toddler felt daunting, especially when it came to finding the perfect accommodation.
We needed multiple bedrooms, cooking facilities, and that elusive sense of private tranquility without feeling isolated.
After days of searching and poring over reviews, I finally discovered a place where our entire family could relax comfortably without a single worry.
That place was Lotte Art Villas, nestled in Seogwipo, Jeju Island. With its expansive spaces and fantastic amenities, this private standalone resort offered our three generations a truly leisurely and unforgettable escape.
If you're planning your 2026 year-end trip to Jeju, I highly recommend booking large family accommodations well in advance, as they tend to fill up quickly!

The Perfect Private Villa for Large Families
Seung Hyo-sang 96B

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a dedicated, open-plan (piloti-style) parking garage on the first floor. This direct access to the interior staircase made it incredibly easy for our large family to move luggage and settle in.
We stayed in the 96B type, designed by architect Seung Hyo-sang. Its modern, minimalist concrete box exterior, blended beautifully with traditional Jeju basalt stone walls, creating a sophisticated first impression that truly captivated us.

Beneath the clear blue sky, the meticulously maintained lawn garden and landscaping truly delighted my parents, who praised its pristine appearance. Its proximity to the Jungmun Tourist Complex was also a huge plus, making it convenient for exploring nearby attractions.
Dining Room and Private Bedrooms
Ensuring Multi-Generational Family Privacy

The dining area, seamlessly connected to the living room, became our family's central hub throughout our stay. A large, sturdy wooden table stretched across the center, beautifully illuminated by the warm sunlight filtering through the wood blinds, creating a truly picturesque scene on the floor and tabletop. In the mornings, we enjoyed coffee overlooking our private garden through the expansive windows, and in the evenings, all three generations gathered around to leisurely enjoy fresh fruit.

More than anything, the bedroom configuration is paramount for a large family trip, isn't it? The Seung Hyo-sang 96B type, a generously sized unit for a standard occupancy of 8, boasted three bedrooms and four beds on the first floor alone. This arrangement was absolutely perfect for our large, multi-generational family, ensuring excellent flow and privacy for everyone.
✔ Room Configuration
1st floor: 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, sauna
2nd floor: bathroom, living room, kitchen, outdoor jacuzzi

What we particularly loved was that each bedroom came with its own private bathroom and shower. This meant that even with a large group, there was absolutely no overlap in usage times, making our mornings and evenings incredibly smooth and convenient.

The main room, featuring twin beds, was especially well-appointed with a spacious bathtub, a dressing room, and even a personal safe – every detail thoughtfully provided, making it perfect for accommodating our parents.

What truly impressed everyone was the private hinoki jacuzzi and sauna facilities located right on the first floor. My parents especially loved it!
They enjoyed the sauna with its subtle wood fragrance, followed by a quiet half-body bath, which they said completely washed away their travel fatigue.

Lotte Hotel Pool: Perfect for Families with Babies

As guests of Art Villas, we also had access to the Lotte Hotel's outdoor pool, making it incredibly convenient for a fun splash with our baby. Seeing the crystal-clear pool sparkling under a cloudless sky made it truly feel like a proper vacation.
Lotte Hotel's outdoor pool, Haevn, is heated, so you can enjoy it comfortably even during the winter season.
It features a jacuzzi, a toddler pool, a kids' pool (~2 ft deep), a family pool (~4.3 ft deep), and an adult pool (~5.6 ft deep), so keep these in mind when you visit.

The poolside, adorned with palm trees and rock landscaping, even had a large LED screen stage, adding to the fun of watching videos while relaxing in the water.
I had many worries about traveling with three generations, from my 70-year-old parents to our young toddler, but the room's versatility and the year-round heated pool made our stay absolutely flawless and truly relaxing.
