Top Places to Visit in Jeju This June
1. Panpo Port (판포포구)
📍 Panpo Port
2877-3 Panpo-ri, Hangyeong-myeon, Jeju-si, Jeju-do

If you love water activities, this is your paradise. It's wildly popular on social media, so even on weekdays, it draws a lively crowd.
The water is incredibly clear and calm, making it a dream spot for snorkeling. While there is a free parking lot, it fills up fast during peak season (paid parking nearby is about ~$7 per day).
You can also rent flat wooden platforms (pyeongsang) for relaxing—typically ~$13 for 2 hours or ~$33 for the whole day. Tubes are available for around ~$7.
(Note: Rental prices are subject to change.)
2. Gaeoreum Horse Pasture (개오름 마방목지)
📍 Gaeoreum
162 Seongeupiri 57-beongil, Pyoseon-myeon, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do

I saved this spot after seeing it on Instagram, and it did not disappoint. Instead of hiking all the way to Gaeoreum's peak, I spent my time at the gorgeous horse pasture right in front.
Since it's private land, there’s a small entry fee of about ~$3 (payable via bank transfer or cash).
While not massive, the lush green fields are stunning and make for the perfect backdrop. You can take photos right alongside the horses, which is why it's a hot spot for local wedding shoots!

If you do want to hike, the Gaeoreum trail is free and a very manageable 20-minute walk to the top.
It's highly recommended for anyone looking for an easy, scenic hike that captures the true essence of summer in Jeju.
3. Geumneung Beach (금능해수욕장)
📍 Geumneung Beach
Geumneung-ri, Hallim-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju-do

While I originally planned to head to the famous Hyeopjae Beach, the massive crowds led me to nearby Geumneung Beach instead—and it was the best decision ever.
Geumneung offers a much more laid-back, tranquil vibe, making it perfect for a peaceful stroll along the shore.
I spent hours walking along the water, watching the tide roll out, and even spotting small sea snails in the tide pools.
The water is a stunning shade of turquoise, and the breeze is incredibly refreshing. If you want to escape the tourist rush and just heal by the ocean, put this on your list.
4. Sunset Black Pork at Bada-reul Bon Dwaeji (바다를 본 돼지)
📍 Bada-reul Bon Dwaeji (Hyeopjae/Panpo Branch)
1F, 16 Panpo 1-gil, Hangyeong-myeon, Jeju-si, Jeju-do

You can't visit Jeju without trying the famous local black pork. Located near Geumneung, Hyeopjae, and Panpo Port, this spot is perfectly situated for a west coast itinerary.
The staff grills the meat to perfection for you, so you can just sit back and enjoy.
The absolute highlight here is dining with a front-row view of a breathtaking ocean sunset. We arrived around 7:00 PM just as the sky turned golden, and the atmosphere was magical.

The pricing was also incredibly reasonable for a prime oceanfront spot. A group of five of us ate our fill for about ~$94 total (excluding alcohol). Highly recommended for an unforgettable dinner view!
5. Jongmun (종문) - Budget-Friendly Omakase
📍 Jongmun
1F, 5 Ongpo 8-gil, Hallim-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju-do

This is a place I dream about long after my trips end. It’s an incredibly high-value dining experience that won't break the bank.
I booked in advance via Catch Table and opted for the drinking snack course (around ~$23 per person). The food quality and presentation at this price point are unmatched.
Their signature monkfish liver toast is an absolute masterpiece. It's rich, savory, and easily explains why this place is so highly rated.
It's the perfect spot for a celebratory final dinner or a romantic date night in Jeju. I'll definitely be returning here on my next trip.
6. Cheongpa Raw Fish Restaurant (청파식당횟집)
📍 Cheongpa Raw Fish Restaurant
12 Sepyeonghang-ro, Gujwa-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju-do

Hands down, the absolute best mackerel sashimi (Godeungeo-hoe) I’ve ever tasted. Honestly, this dish alone is worth a trip to Jeju's east coast.
If you've never tried raw mackerel, don't be intimidated—when it's this fresh, there is zero fishiness, just a rich, buttery flavor.
Wrap a slice in seaweed with their seasoned rice and special sauce for a bite of pure heaven. It's a must-visit for any seafood enthusiast!
7. Aewol Matcha (애월맛차)
📍 Aewol Matcha
183 Hagwang-ro, Aewol-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju-do

A must-visit for matcha lovers. I stopped by for their famous matcha bingsu (shaved ice) and it blew me away.
The green tea flavor is incredibly rich and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet.
Best of all, you get to enjoy your dessert overlooking a serene green tea field. It's incredibly peaceful and visually healing.
It's a cozy, intimate space, so there might be a short wait during peak hours, but it’s absolutely worth it.
8. Ramane Uisikju (라마네 의식주)
📍 Ramane Uisikju
1F, 2117 Jungsangandong-ro, Gujwa-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju-do

A charming little sandwich shop tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. While the indoor seating is cozy and limited, the beautifully landscaped garden makes the atmosphere feel incredibly magical.
The owner mentioned that in early summer, the garden is completely filled with blooming hydrangeas, which sounds like an absolute dream.
I arrived a bit late, so many signature items were sold out, but even the classic ham and cheese sandwich was elevated by the incredible texture of their freshly baked bread. Be sure to arrive early!
9. Zitadelle (치타델레)

A hidden gem coffee shop that I first discovered during a winter trip and still think about constantly. It feels like a closely guarded local secret.
Located at 25 Gobeundal-gil, this quiet village cafe has irregular operating days, so checking their Instagram is a must before you go.

Their hand-drip coffee is exceptional, and the peaceful, slow-paced atmosphere is the perfect antidote to travel fatigue. It's a wonderful place to sit back, sip, and soak in the quiet village vibes.
