01. Don't trust the airport parking lot.
If you're flying out of Busan Gimhae Airport, I highly recommend booking your parking in advance. Since the airport lots were completely full, just 50 minutes before boarding,
I was sweating bullets trying to secure a private off-site parking spot...
Word is that Gimhae Airport has suspended its official reservation system starting January 1, 2026 T_T You'll definitely want to look into private parking companies in advance or just try your luck on the day of! T_T

We barely made it, arriving at the airport just 25 minutes before boarding closed! Thankfully, we traveled light with no checked bags, and having our biometric data pre-registered allowed us to breeze through security without being late. 👍
⬇️ These two things absolutely saved me. ⬇️
▷ TIP 1: Skip the checked luggage. Traveling carry-on only means you can head straight to the gate.
▷ TIP 2: Pre-register your biometric data (One ID) for a lightning-fast start to your trip.

02. Jeju Weather & Why I Recommend Major Rental Car Brands
Jeju is famous for its unpredictable weather, right?
In fact, on the day I arrived, our flight was delayed due to heavy wind and rain.
If you can drive, booking a rental car is absolute essential to handle Jeju's unpredictable elements. Especially if you want to stay dry, comfortable, and fresh on a rainy day!
📍 SK Rent-a-Car Jeju Branch
44 Gonghang-ro 1-gil, Jeju-si, Jeju-do
🚗 Rental Car Review:
You might think major rental brands are significantly more expensive.
But when you actually compare prices, the difference is negligible.
Plus, they run large, comfortable shuttle buses
so you can travel in comfort even before picking up your car,
and because of the high volume of customers, buses run very frequently—which is a huge plus!

03. The Journey Begins: Breakfast at Jamae Guksu (09:40 AM)
Because of the flight delay, we arrived late at Jamae Guksu.
And there were 69 teams waiting in front of us...
We waited for 50 minutes and finished our food in exactly 10 minutes.
It's a crowd-pleasing, classic flavor that won't disappoint, but don't overhype it!
If there hadn't been such a long wait, I would have been completely satisfied...
📍 Jamae Guksu
46 Hanggolnam-gil, Jeju-si, Jeju-do
🕑 Waiting TIP
You can register on the Catch Table app
starting at 8:20 AM.
Note that online registration might close early if the queue gets too long!

04. Cruising Along Iho Tewoo Beach
📍 Iho Tewoo Beach
Iho 1-dong, Jeju-si, Jeju-do
A coastal drive is an absolute must-do when you're in Jeju.
You'll be treated to stunning, unforgettable views.
During my trip, it rained and the waves were incredibly wild, but even that had its own unique charm.
You'll feel like you've stepped right into a painting, so don't be discouraged if you visit on a gloomy day! You'll get to experience a different, raw side of the ocean.
Since it gets super windy, I highly recommend going by car—and it's best to avoid getting too close to the shore on days when the waves are dangerously high.

05. A Whole New World of Fish Cutlet (11:14 AM)
This is one of Jeju's most famous tonkatsu (pork cutlet) joints.
I arrived right before opening and managed to secure the 2nd spot on the waiting list.
Just when my morning plans were feeling a bit bumpy, everything started falling perfectly into place...!
📍 TONKATSU Seohwang
1F Seohwang, 205-2 Jangso-ro, Aewol-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju-do
You absolutely have to try their signature fish cutlet!
Even in the assorted platter, the fish cutlet was hands down the star of the show.
The fish is incredibly tender and light, with the flaky texture melting right in your mouth.
Pairing it with the bouncy salad udon balances out the richness of the cutlet, letting you finish the entire plate without feeling heavy at all!

06. Winter Blooms at Camellia Hill (12:48 PM)
Bursting with vibrant red camellias in the chilly winter, Camellia Hill is a beloved year-round destination.
🌸 Spring brings tulips and cherry blossoms
🏝 Summer shows off gorgeous hydrangeas
🍁 Autumn & Winter welcome the iconic camellias.
📍 Camellia Hill
166 Byeongak-ro, Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do
With so much to see, beautifully designed cafes, lush gardens, and paved walking paths, it’s the perfect place to visit with family, from kids to parents.
The estate is massive—it's a garden so grand that it's completely normal to feel a bit tired from all the walking.
There are endless photo spots, so be careful not to spend all your energy (and time!) in one place, or you might fall behind on your schedule!
On the day I visited, it was winter, and the freezing wind and rain made it incredibly cold.
I wouldn’t recommend visiting on a day like that, but if it's your only chance, bundle up tight and brace yourself!
(Though, even in the cold, it was still packed with people! haha)
(Free cancellation if unused)

07. Howl's Moving Castle? Starbucks Jeju Jungmun (2:05 PM)
📍 Starbucks Jeju Jungmun
32 Jungmungwangwang-ro 110beon-gil, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do (Saekdal-dong)
Famous for its whimsical exterior that looks like Howl's Moving Castle, Starbucks Jeju Jungmun is a must-visit. While the interior is standard, you absolutely can't skip the Jeju-exclusive menu!
I tried the Jeju Black Sesame Cream Frappuccino (Jeju Kkamang Cream Frappuccino).
It was the perfect pick-me-up to recharge my travel batteries.
Highly recommended if you love the nutty, rich flavor of black sesame paired with a perfect touch of sweetness!

08. Lucky Early Check-in: Parnas Hotel & Jungmun Saekdal Beach (2:40 PM)
📍 Parnas Hotel Jeju
100 Jungmungwangwang-ro 72beon-gil, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do
We arrived at Parnas Hotel Jeju at 2:40 PM, and on a whim, we asked about an early check-in—and got it!
They must have had vacant rooms because we got the lucky break of an early check-in. Thanks to that, we got to unwind and rest much earlier!
After checking in at the lobby, as I walked toward our room, I was completely captivated by the unique interior vibe of Parnas Hotel. The exotic mood felt straight out of a movie or TV drama.
The courtyard style—gently curved almost into an oval, yet subtly structured—was a stunning sight that I never grew tired of looking at throughout our stay.
Keep reading until the end to see photos of the heated pool and beautiful night views!

📍 Jungmun Saekdal Beach
Saekdal-dong, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do
After recharging in our room, we headed out to catch a glimpse of the ocean next to the hotel before dinner! It was Jungmun Saekdal Beach, which is a bit too far to walk to, but totally worth the visit.
This spot is famous as a summer getaway, but it's wonderfully quiet and peaceful in the winter. We also caught a glimpse of the stunning ocean views at Jungmun Saekdal Beach.

09. A Dinner That Was 4% Lacking, Plus a Sashimi Pro-Tip (5:20 PM)
The value for money wasn't bad, but it felt just a tiny bit lacking—like it was missing that last 4%... It's not a must-visit, but if you're out of ideas, it's worth a quick stop.
✨️ It’s a bit far from Parnas Hotel, but if you're in the area, check out Kiheung Fish Market in the Olle Daily Market or Hong Mart Moseolpo Branch. The prices and quality are much better there!
I'll post a review about Hong Mart Moseolpo Branch very soon! ~
📍 Hong Mart Moseolpo Branch
13 Choinamdanhaean-ro, Daejeong-eup, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do
This is from a previous Jeju trip itinerary.
At the very end, when I visited the Olle Daily Market,
I took photos of what I bought at Kiheung Fish Market!

10. 100% Satisfaction: Parnas Heated Pool & Sauna (7:30 PM)
The vibe here is so incredibly beautiful
that you simply can't help but take photos.
A waterproof phone pouch is a must!
The water is perfectly warm, making it great all year round,
and there's a separate hot tub area too.
After your swim, you can even warm up in the sauna.
Whether you're traveling with your parents or your partner, this place is a guaranteed hit. You'll definitely get complimented on your excellent choice!👍
(Prices may vary depending on the booking platform, date, etc.
I highly recommend comparing them all for your specific travel dates!)

11. Jeju Late-Night Snack: BHC Donggeulrak Basak Chicken (9:30 PM)
A limited-edition menu only available in Jeju!
It looks a bit rustic, and I was slightly worried when I heard the "Bongbong Mayo Sauce" tasted like Hallabong citrus, but it's actually sweet, spicy, and delicious! Definitely worth trying at least once!!
└ It tastes familiar, like something I've had before... At the time, I knew exactly what it was, but now I can't remember for the life of me! I completely forgot lol T_T
