As I was preparing for my trip to Jeju,

the biggest thing I worried about was the accommodation.

If it's too far from the airport, getting around can be a hassle,

but being close doesn't always mean it's good, right?

On top of that, finding a place that's clean *and* reasonably priced

can be really tough.

The Gloucester Hotel I visited this time

was a pretty good accommodation in that regard.

It was close to the airport,

and the basic room conditions were satisfying too.

Gloucester Hotel Location and Nearby Amenities

The Gloucester Hotel is located in Yeon-dong (연동), Jeju City (제주시).

I decided to stay here on my last night,

and since it only takes about 10 minutes by car from Jeju Airport (제주공항),

it made getting around the next day super easy!

It's a great location for your first or last night of your Jeju trip.

Nearby, there's also Baozheng Street (바오젠거리) and Nuwemaru Street (누웨마루 거리),

so it was perfect for an evening stroll, sightseeing,

or finding great restaurants.

With convenience stores, restaurants, and even 24-hour cafes all around,

I had no inconveniences even when I came back late.

The airport limousine bus stop is also right nearby,

making public transportation really convenient!

It seems like business travelers would also find it comfortable to use!

Clean Interior and Relaxing Lobby Atmosphere

Honestly, the exterior was a bit ordinary,

but the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was surprised by how clean it was.

The lighting was soft,

and I loved the clean, simple interior

with no unnecessary clutter.

Above all, the staff were incredibly friendly,

so from the moment I wheeled in my luggage,

I had a pleasant check-in experience.

There were many international guests too!

Twin Room Review

The room I booked was a Twin Room.

It featured one double bed

and one single bed, so it would be perfect for two friends traveling together!

The room size isn't super spacious,

but it's efficiently laid out, so I didn't feel uncomfortable.

The refrigerator had two bottles of water, a coffee pot,

and tea (green tea and oolong tea).

The bathroom had a shower curtain,

keeping things splash-free and tidy,

and the bed was so comfortable, I slept really well.

Overall, the room condition was pleasant and great!

Breakfast Options and Pricing Information

Breakfast was optional,

and since I had an early flight to Seoul (서울) the next day,

I didn't purchase it separately.

Looking at reviews,

it was ₩17,500 (~$13) for adults,

and they apparently had a good mix of Korean and Western dishes,

offering quite a wide selection!

They offer delicious Korean dishes like rice, soup, and kimchi,

and also basic Western options

such as bread, scrambled eggs, and salad.

Reviews mention that the dining area is clean

and the food overall is generally satisfying,

so it's good to keep that in mind!

Amenities: From Convenience Store to Self-Service Laundry and Even a Golf Shop!

My favorite amenity at this hotel was the

Seven Eleven convenience store on the 2nd floor.

It was so handy when a late-night snack or craving hit –

no need to even step outside!

There's also a self-service laundry room, which would be great for

long-term stays or family travelers,

and on the 1st floor, there's even a golf equipment store,

which could be interesting for golf enthusiasts.

Based on the dates I stayed, it was in the early ₩100,000s (~$74) for a weekday during the off-season,
