Jeju East Coast Fall Itinerary 2026: 5 Must-See Gems

If you're looking for places to visit in Jeju in September,

instead of just escaping the midday heat,

it's a great idea to combine some of Jeju's east coast destinations

where you can enjoy the gradually cooling autumn weather.

As I live on Jeju Island, I thought back to the places I've personally visited

that I'd love to revisit in autumn,

and I realized the itinerary flowed quite nicely.

From Achim Misso Ranch to Wahle Memil Village,

passing through Eco Land and Dongjok Songdang Fairytale Village,

and if you have time and energy left, even Cheonggulmul.

Achim Misso Ranch in Jeju City.

You can stroll through the spacious ranch

and watch cows freely grazing,

making it a wonderful place to start your day leisurely

compared to crowded tourist destinations.

When I visited, after exploring the ranch,

I also enjoyed Kaymak cheese bread and coffee at the cafe.

There are also various products made from milk freshly squeezed at the ranch,

Next up is Wahle Memil Village,

a perfect match for autumn in Jeju.

I visited in early October,

and the white buckwheat flowers were spread out across a wide area,

making it wonderful to walk slowly and soak in the autumn atmosphere.

This place is better suited for those who prefer to quietly

stroll through a flower field rather than bustling tourist attractions.

However, the scenery I saw was from early October.

The blooming period of buckwheat flowers can vary each year,

so if you're traveling to Jeju in September,

I recommend checking the blooming status before your visit.

After exploring this spot, you can grab lunch nearby

and then move on to your afternoon itinerary.

Eco Land, Allow plenty of time in the afternoon

For the afternoon, I recommend making Eco Land

the main event of your day's itinerary.

Moving around on a train allows you to enjoy the forest and nature,

which offered a different kind of charm

compared to tourist spots where you just take photos and move on.

When I went, I had a very enjoyable time walking through the forest and flower paths,

and even riding a swan boat.

There's actually so much to see and do that

you might regret rushing through it with too short a stay.

So, if you're planning a day trip to explore Jeju's best spots in September and October,

and you want to combine them into one amazing day,

I highly recommend dedicating a generous amount of time to Eco Land,

more so than other attractions.

make your way to Dongjok Songdang Fairytale Village.

The real beauty of this place is that instead of sticking to just one spot,

perfectly suited to your taste.

At **Dotori Forest Jeju**, you can browse adorable Ghibli merchandise,

and even pop into delightful cafes like **Koriko Cafe** and **Mr. Milk Songdang**.

Still looking for the perfect Jeju souvenirs?

Then make sure to also check out **Jesco Tourist Mart**.

When I visited myself, I discovered that they truly have it all, from **delicious Jeju snacks and treats**

to charming **props and unique gifts**.

It was incredibly convenient, as I didn't have to wander around countless souvenir shops;

everything I needed was right there in one fantastic place!

And here's a hot tip: starting in July 2026,

the 'Studio Ghibli Exhibition in Jeju' also kicked off!

While I haven't had the chance to visit it personally,

my friend who went with her little one said

it was absolutely fantastic! Haha!

Imagine stepping into recreated scenes from Ghibli animations, complete with enchanting photo zones, and an official merchandise shop!

Just a friendly heads-up: if you've been adventuring all the way from Achi Misomokjang

and reached here,

you might find yourself feeling pretty tired.

If you've already had a wonderfully full day at Eco Land and Songdang,

or if the hour is getting late,

don't push yourself to reach Cheonggulmul.

It's perfectly fine to wrap up your incredible journey right there in Songdang.
