It was a drizzly day during my visit, but even with the rain, Geumneung Beach (금능바닷가) was bustling with people! I was on my third day of exploring Jeju with one of my favorite sister-like friends, and we were excited for our next culinary adventure.

After a scenic drive around Geumneung Beach, we arrived at the restaurant, conveniently located on the first floor. The entrance itself felt like a hidden gem, featuring a small, elegant photo zone that immediately set a sophisticated tone. It’s absolutely perfect for capturing those memorable travel snapshots!

The entrance area even featured clothes hanging on racks, giving it the intriguing feel of a curated boutique or prop shop. It added to the sense of discovery, almost like you were finding a hidden path to a special place!

As the door swung open, the breathtaking view of Geumneung Beach (금능 바다) immediately greeted us. That unobstructed ocean vista was absolutely incredible and instantly made the experience feel special!

While I had imagined a vast space, the restaurant turned out to be perfectly cozy – not too big, not too small, but just right for an intimate dining experience. The clean white tones and classic decor created a sophisticated yet welcoming ambiance. It's truly an ideal spot for a romantic date or a lovely meal out with your significant other.

Our Order Today

We arrived right as the break time ended at 5:00 PM and were the very first customers for the evening! As we were finishing up, other diners slowly started to trickle in, eager to enjoy the delicious offerings.

Spicy Cream Pasta: ₩17,900 (~$13)
Black Pork Handmade Pork Cutlet: ₩12,900 (~$10)

The Sizzling Handmade Pork Cutlet
This homemade pork cutlet is crafted from aged sirloin, served with fluffy white rice.

The moment it arrived, warm steam wafted up from the pork cutlet. It was perfectly crispy on the outside, while the meat inside was neither tough nor overly tender – just the right texture, making every bite incredibly satisfying. The sauce was a highlight too; not at all greasy, with a delicious, fresh tomato-like base that perfectly complemented the pork!

Spicy Cream Pasta
This dish features a creamy, subtly spicy sauce, enoki mushrooms, garlic scapes, button mushrooms, shrimp, and bacon. Don't forget to break the fresh egg yolk and mix it all together for an extra rich flavor!

The pasta boasted a rich, deep base that was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice – not overwhelmingly hot. The sauce was wonderfully thick and smooth, and the creamy base was exceptional. I especially loved the texture of the mushrooms, with the enoki mushrooms adding a delightful and unique touch!

While we only ordered these two delightful dishes, Dulle-gil Hyeopjae Geumneungjeom is known for several signature items. Their "Fluffy Jeju Black Pork Omelet" is a must-try – an Italian-style kimchi fried rice that truly highlights the rich flavors of Jeju black pork.
They also offer unique, local Jeju-inspired dishes like "Fat Mackerel Pasta" and "Gosari Vongole Pasta," alongside a wide array of other culinary creations. It’s clear why so many people visit, especially families, as they also have kid-friendly options like Tomato Bacon Pasta and Kids' Omelets!
Our visit truly made for a wonderful day on Jeju Island!
