there's one cafe I simply must visit.
And that's Cafe Mapis, where you can gaze down at the Jocheon Sinheung-ri sea
at a glance.
I first stumbled upon this gem while using the Jeju Cafe Pass,
but now, it's become my regular spot,
a place I naturally gravitate to every time I explore the eastern side of Jeju.
Today, I'm excited to introduce you to Cafe Mapis, a top recommended cafe in Jeju,
along with the Jeju Cafe Pass.

Jeju Mapis

Cafe Mapis is
a hidden ocean-view cafe nestled along Jeju's Jocheon Coastal Road.

It's close to Hamdeok Beach,
making it a perfect spot to visit when you're exploring Jeju's eastern coast.

When I first visited,
it was an affiliated cafe with the Jeju Cafe Pass.
Currently, however, it's no longer listed as an available cafe on the Jeju Cafe Pass.

But even though I discovered it through the Jeju Pass (Cafe Pass),
it's become one of those places I almost want to keep all to myself, so charming that I make a special trip to visit it whenever I'm in Jeju.

Sitting by the window on the second floor, the emerald Jocheon sea unfolds magnificently before you,
allowing you to truly savor the relaxed charm of a Jeju getaway.

Jeju Cafe Pass CAFEPASS
Jeju Pass, Cafe Pass, How to Make the Most of Your Jeju Cafe Pass

While preparing for my Jeju trip,
I came across the Jeju Cafe Pass.
I used it so effectively and found it incredibly useful,
that I just had to share it with you!

The Jeju Cafe Pass is a service that allows you to freely use affiliated cafes across Jeju
that are registered on the Jeju Pass.

The reason I frequently used it during my Jeju trip was that it allowed me to effortlessly experience a variety of cafes,
stopping at nearby affiliated cafes along my travel route,
whether dining in or taking out,
without any burden.

You could basically pop into any cafe listed on the Jeju Pass app
and grab a designated coffee menu item, or
pay a small extra if you fancied something different!
But what really sealed the deal was
the 3-day Jeju Cafe Pass, costing only about ~$9,
which let me enjoy unlimited coffee every 3 hours
within its 3-day (72-hour) validity!

It was so convenient! I popped into cafes
while exploring Jeju's eastern coast, and then again
as I made my way to the west.

It was also incredibly handy to pull over whenever I saw an affiliated cafe nearby,
grab a takeout coffee, and then hit the road again!
I purchased mine from MyRealTrip back then,
as it was the cheapest option.
Currently, both NOL (Yanolja) and MyRealTrip are offering
the Jeju Pass at a discounted price compared to buying directly from Jeju Pass itself,
(I recommend checking both to see which one is cheaper!)
If you're planning a Jeju trip for 3 days and 2 nights or longer,
you can find more detailed information about the Cafe Pass

The Vibe at Jeju Mapice
Jeju East Course, Jeju Island Cafes

The biggest draw of Cafe Mapice is, without a doubt, its panoramic ocean view.
Settle into a window seat and you'll feel like you're floating
right on top of the sparkling sea!

Instead of flashy or overly trendy interiors, the atmosphere here truly focuses
on providing a comfortable space to soak in the beauty of the Jeju sea,
which honestly made me want to linger even longer.

Sipping a cup of coffee while gazing at the Jocheon sea outside the window
made this moment of rest during my trip
feel extra special.

If you're planning a trip to the eastern side of Jeju Island,
I highly recommend visiting this place
along with Hamdeok Beach.

Although it's no longer an affiliated cafe with the Cafe Pass,
