unique memories with the autumn ambiance.

Pet-friendly and also famous as a wedding photoshoot location,
Boromwat!
I'll even share some insider tips.
1. What is Boromwat?
Its name is quite unique, 'Boreumwat'? 'Bureumwat'?
I was really curious about what it meant.
Boromwat, in Jeju dialect,
is said to mean 'windy field'.

In Jeju, the largest buckwheat producing region in the country,
Boromwat is an agricultural corporation certified as a 6th industrial business
that pursues the value of coexistence between nature and people.
More than just a tourist destination, it's a meaningful space that embraces the natural beauty of Jeju.

Christmas in autumn, you ask??
At Boromwat, Jeju, a special event that's ahead of its season is taking place!
🔸When does it start?
Christmas-related events officially begin on October 17, 2026.
They also say there will be night openings starting October 30!

The indoor space was entirely decorated with Christmas trees, music boxes,
and a Santa's Village concept.
You could truly feel the winter vibes amidst autumn.

If you're a couple, family, or group of friends looking to capture those perfect 'life shots' for a
Christmas trip or an early Christmas celebration,
this will be the perfect photo zone, so be sure to visit.
4. Recommended Tour Route at Boromwat
Upon arrival, park your car and head to the entrance.

✔️First, pay the admission fee at the ticket office
(Please check the ticket prices above).

✔️There are also Boromwat tour and chocolate making experience courses available for groups of 5 or more,
so it's a good idea to check in advance before visiting.

✔️You can receive a macadamia nut and crack it open yourself.
(It wasn't pre-cut, though.)

✔️When you visit the store, you can see the chocolate making process firsthand,
enjoy chocolate tastings, and browse a variety of unique items.

✔️Explore the indoor flower garden and the festive Christmas photo zone.
Every corner here is a picture-perfect photo spot!

✔️The outdoor photo zones here are truly captivating.

✔️Relax at the cafe and unwind,
or take a leisurely ride on the outdoor Can Train (깡통기차) for a refreshing walk –
it's the perfect way to round off your visit.

5. Unmissable Tips for Enjoying Boromwat (보롬왓) to the Fullest!
< Choo-Choo Can Train >
The Can Train ride is actually included in your admission ticket, so there's no extra charge.
Here are the operating hours:
🔸Morning: 10 AM - 12 PM
🔸Lunch break: 12 PM - 1 PM
🔸Afternoon: 1:30 PM - 5 PM

The Can Train operates for about 7 minutes.
It takes you on a delightful loop around the spacious outdoor gardens.
Although it's stated that departures are every 30 minutes,
when I visited on October 15th,
they actually operated on a flexible system, departing as soon as enough passengers gathered.
In practice, it ran approximately every 10 minutes,
so it was great not having to wait too long!
< Expansive Flower Fields & Instagram-Worthy Photo Zones >
While the pink muhly grass (핑크뮬리) is starting to fade now,
it was still looking absolutely beautiful!
Pink muhly, rosemary, slightly fading
lavender, vast white buckwheat flower fields (메밀꽃밭),
yellow cosmos, and even a sprawling leek field (대파밭) in the background!

Thanks to its expansive natural backdrop, this spot is also incredibly famous as a wedding photoshoot location!
I spotted several couples, who appeared to be foreign tourists, having their wedding photos taken.

There was a unique leek-pulling experience (대파 뽑기 체험) available,
but we didn't get to try it because our schedule didn't align.
Apparently, each person can pull out up to three leek stalks!

In one section of the vast field, geese were happily grazing,
and they didn't even run away when people approached!
It's a pet-friendly spot, so
it's no surprise there were many visitors with their furry friends.

It made me think of my own dog back home!
Overall Impression
Since it's pet-friendly, it's the perfect place for those
traveling Jeju (제주) with their beloved companions! You'll be more than satisfied!
Filled with autumn and early Christmas items,
Boromwat offers diverse experiences like the chocolate-making activity –
