3. Our Feeding Experience

As you head into the farm with your carrot sticks,
you'll stroll along a lovely forest path.
The lush greenery instantly creates a serene atmosphere,
making you feel relaxed and refreshed.

✅ Dochidol Farm Visitor Guidelines
- Pets are welcome but must be on a leash.
- No outside food for the animals.
- Be aware of spitting, biting, and kicking from animals.
- Do not damage or pick plants within the farm.
Our first animal encounter at the farm was with the adorable rabbits!
If you're new to animal feeding, starting with the bunnies is a gentle introduction
and helps ease any initial nerves.

Right next to the rabbit enclosure, we found a flock of sheep,
who slowly approached us as soon as they spotted the carrot sticks.
Watching them eagerly munch on the treats was incredibly cute,
and the chance to interact so closely with the animals makes this a top recommendation
for families exploring Jeju's west side.

Further inside, you'll discover the expansive alpaca pastures.
There are three alpaca areas in total:
one where you can observe them from outside the fence,
and two where you can actually step inside the enclosure
for a closer, more personal interaction.

Since it was our first time seeing alpacas up close,
and we'd heard they can spit when annoyed,
we initially kept our distance and observed from outside the fence 🤣
But they turned out to be surprisingly gentle and calm,
quickly easing our apprehension and making the experience truly enjoyable!

After sharing some carrots with the horses just behind them,
we made our way to the smaller 'baby alpaca' section of the farm.

Indoors, you'll find a cozy resting area and various engaging activities.

They even have colorful traditional South American ponchos to try on,
fun photo zones, and coloring activities,
making it an ideal stop on Jeju's west side for families with kids.

From the indoor area, a path leads to the 'baby alpaca' enclosure.
We confidently stepped in, thinking it would be easy,
but these little ones have a keen sense of smell!
They'll follow you around, eagerly approaching for treats, which honestly gave us a bit of a fright at first 🤣🤣

However, we quickly adapted, and their adorable expressions
made us want to stay and watch them forever.
We even managed to pet them while feeding!

Throughout the farm, you'll find charming photo zones,
perfect for capturing those memorable moments.

About halfway through the farm loop, you'll reach the central cafe.
On a hot summer day, it's the ideal spot to cool off with a refreshing coffee.
You can also purchase additional carrot sticks here!
We found the animal feeding so much fun that we each bought an extra cup, haha!

Afterward, we fed the goats and gave plenty more treats to the alpacas,
thoroughly enjoying every moment at Dochidol Alpaca Farm.

The Dochidol Alpaca Farm in Jeju offers a wonderful opportunity to interact closely with animals,
enjoy a feeding experience, and relax at a cafe, all in one spot.
If you're planning a Jeju west coast itinerary,
we highly recommend visiting in the morning—
it's perfect for families, friends, or couples!
