Jeju Airport Restaurants: Local Food on the 4th Floor
Before flying out of Jeju, stop by the 4th floor of Jeju International Airport for one last taste of traditional island food — what we ate, prices, and whether it's worth your pre-flight time.
Wrapping up your Jeju Island adventure?
Before you board your flight, make sure to visit the 4th floor of Jeju International Airport.
We decided to check out the traditional Jeju local food restaurant up there
to get one last taste of authentic island flavors.
With some extra time to spare after checking in our bags, it was the perfect spot to unwind.

Operating Hours
Morning 07:00 AM - Evening 08:20 PM
Right from the entrance,
the beautiful basalt stone wall decor
gives off a strong, authentic Jeju vibe.
Unlike the hectic energy of the main terminal,
the interior is incredibly calm, spacious,
and offers a peaceful atmosphere to enjoy your meal.

You place your order and pay upfront at the counter,
and then grab a seat where your food will be brought to you.
To the right of the register,
there is a dedicated counter area for solo travelers,
making it an incredibly welcoming spot for solo dining.

They also have a secure space to leave your suitcases,
allowing you to dine comfortably without worrying about your luggage.

The charming miniature Dol Hareubang (stone grandfathers)
and basalt partitions add a unique local touch
that makes you feel like you are still exploring the island.

The seating arrangement is very generous,
and the restaurant itself is surprisingly massive.

Since they open early at 7:00 AM and stay open late,
it is perfect for both early morning departures and late-night arrivals.
On the Menu

The menu offers a wide variety of local specialties,
along with regional snacks like traditional Omegi-tteok (rice cakes).
Horse Meat Spicy Beef Soup (Yukgaejang): ~$8
Sargassum Soup (Momguk): ~$6
Jeju Black Pork Spicy Stir-Fry (Jeyuk-bokkeum): ~$9
Here is what we tried!

While I had tried grilled horse meat before,
this was my first time trying Horse Meat Yukgaejang.
To my surprise, there was no strong or gamey flavor at all.
It tasted just like a rich, comforting, and spicy beef soup,
making it incredibly easy and satisfying to eat!

The side dishes are simple but delicious,
and they even include savory salted seafood (jeotgal).

Next up was the Black Pork Spicy Stir-Fry that I ordered.

And the Momguk (Sargassum Soup) was absolutely phenomenal!
While airport dining can sometimes feel overpriced,
the quality and flavor here made it completely worth it.

There is a convenient self-serve banchan corner.
They bring you the initial set of side dishes,
and you can easily refill your favorites as much as you like.
Water is also self-serve.
If you are planning an upcoming trip to Jeju Island,
make sure to bookmark this spot for a fantastic final meal!
Beyond this traditional Korean spot,
the 4th floor food court also features:
Han Spoon (Chinese),
Hoho Katsu (Japanese Tonkatsu), Sodam Bansang (Korean homestyle),
Gamasot Osaek Myeonjeon (Noodles), and several cozy cafes.
