When you’re kicking off your Jeju Island adventure or heading back to Jeju Airport (제주공항) after an amazing trip, finding a delicious yet quick meal can be a challenge, especially with flight times looming. If you’re traveling with kids, the pressure to find a proper meal without a lengthy sit-down experience is even higher.
That’s where Dajeongine Jeju Airport branch (다정이네 제주공항점) comes to the rescue! This beloved snack bar (bunsikjip), originally famous in Seogwipo (서귀포), now has a convenient location in Jeju City (제주시), making it an absolute lifesaver. It’s a fantastic spot where both adults and children can enjoy a satisfying meal, and I’m excited to share my honest review.

Words & Photos by Seolland
Dajeongine Jeju Airport branch is a snack bar located conveniently close to Jeju Airport, renowned for its famous egg gimbap. All menu items are available for takeout, making it a perfect spot for families traveling with children, especially on their first or last day on Jeju Island.

Location and Parking Information
Address: 1st Floor, 3 Gwandong-ro, Jeju-si, Jeju-do
Opening Hours: Daily 7 AM - 8 PM / Open 365 days a year
Parking: No dedicated parking
The restaurant is about a 1-minute walk from Gwandongjeong (관덕정) Public Parking lot, which offers 30 minutes of free parking. It’s approximately a 10-15 minute drive from Jeju Airport, making it an ideal stop right after picking up your rental car to start your trip, or just before returning it.

Smart Tips to Beat the Wait
During peak lunch and dinner hours, you might encounter a wait as both dine-in and takeout customers converge. One of the biggest perks of Dajeongine is that all their menu items are available for takeout! If you don't necessarily need to sit down, I highly recommend ordering for pickup.

While enjoying a leisurely meal in the restaurant is lovely, if you're planning to eat on the go in your rental car or pick up food right before heading to the airport, a quick phone call for a takeout order means you can pick up your food without any waiting. This is a fantastic tip if you’re on a tight schedule!

A Kid-Friendly Snack Spot
Step inside, and you'll find a bright, clean, and welcoming atmosphere, far from the rustic image some might have of a traditional rural snack bar. With high chairs available, you won't feel out of place dining with little ones.
It’s a great spot for couples looking for a casual date, but the thoughtful, relaxed environment truly makes it comfortable for families with young children to enjoy a meal together.

Menu Review
The Perfect Pairing: Soft Gimbap and Tteokbokki
Our family ordered Dajeongine Jeju Airport branch’s signature egg gimbap (계란김밥) along with a steaming bowl of soupy tteokbokki (떡볶이).

Dajeongine Gimbap
The vibrant yellow, thick egg omelet filling, much more generous than the rice, was visually stunning and instantly made our mouths water. Its mild, non-overpowering flavor meant even our youngest child thoroughly enjoyed it.

Tteokbokki
You can never go wrong with the combination of savory gimbap and spicy-sweet tteokbokki sauce! The rice cakes were delightfully chewy, adding a great texture to each bite. The spicy kick was refreshing for adults, and dipping the gimbap into the rich sauce was so addictive that we polished off every last drop.

Who is this highly recommended for?
▶ Couples looking for a quick meal near Jeju Airport.
▶ Families on a Jeju trip who want an easy and comfortable meal for their children.
▶ Anyone looking for delicious takeout gimbap to enjoy in their rental car or at their accommodation during their Jeju travels.
I wholeheartedly recommend Dajeongine Jeju Airport branch for its delicious, hearty egg gimbap and the perfect harmony of gimbap and tteokbokki. Make sure to experience this delightful combination on your next trip to Jeju!
