1. Studio Ghibli Dotori Forest Pop-up Begins!
As a Jeju resident, I often travel overseas or to mainland Korea for business, which means I frequent Jeju Airport quite a bit.
Every time I visit, there are always different Jeju gift shop pop-ups happening each season, making for a fun discovery every time.
Right now, it's the Dotori Forest pop-up store, brimming with that magical Ghibli vibe!
Most travelers usually stop by Jeju souvenir shops before boarding their flights. The Dotori Forest pop-up store also has a fantastic variety of merchandise, making it a perfect spot to visit at the start or end of your trip.
I'll tell you all about its exact location, event period, and those unique Jeju Airport souvenir goods in detail!

The exhibition features promotions for the Studio Ghibli exhibition located in Donghwa Village, along with sales of official Ghibli merchandise.
Since I've already visited Donghwa Village's Dotori Forest many times, it was great to check out gifts at Jeju Airport. However, as a local, I didn't spot anything completely new, so I just casually browsed around.
In Donghwa Village, you'll find the Studio Ghibli Exhibition in Jeju, the fairytale-like Koriko Cafe, and the Dotori Forest Jeju branch, all clustered together!
When you enter, please store your luggage next to the entrance. There are shopping baskets just inside, so grab one and enjoy your shopping!
Still, there are some unique goods you can only find in Jeju, which makes browsing for Jeju Airport gifts quite enjoyable.
The Ghibli Studio in Jeju x Dotori Forest event was also underway!
As a Jeju souvenir shop, they embraced the local charm! For purchases over ~$7, you'd receive a special pop-up store gift: a Jeju artwork postcard featuring Jeju's camellia flowers and Jiji, the character from <Kiki's Delivery Service>.
For purchases over ~$35,
you'll receive a local hydrangea and
a Jeju artwork 'luggage tag' themed after
the Totoro character from <My Neighbor Totoro> as a gift.
Duplicate gifts are not allowed,
and since quantities are limited and supplies can run out,
the offer might end early. So, if you're interested,
it's best to hurry!
3. Various Jeju Airport Souvenirs & Goods
There's a photo zone right from the entrance,
so after taking some photos around the pop-up zone,
I stepped inside to properly explore all the diverse attractions.
The Totoro bus and Totoro tricycle (each ~$19)
are designed as mini-cars and come as cute pull-back keychains.
Totoro coin purses are consistently popular,
whether in Japan or here in Korea.
They're such a charming item! With their soft, fluffy texture
and cute Totoro design, they just bring a smile to your face.
They were just the right size to fit not only coins,
but also small accessories like lip balm and AirPods.
I also noticed casual denim-designed caps and backpacks,
which looked like they could be worn as part of your everyday style.
Figurines of No-Face, Totoro, and other characters with various expressions
also caught my eye, they were incredibly cute.
There were also beautifully packaged cookie products,
making them great gifts. You could easily pick up travel souvenirs
from this Jeju gift shop.
Among the exclusive Jeju-only merchandise,
I spotted items like the cozy small Totoro Hallabong tangerine (~$17), and more.
There was Totoro carrying a small Hallabong tangerine on its head,
cute little Mei with a camellia flower on her hat,
and a Totoro Bus doll with 'Jeju Station' written on it,
among other unique items.
I heard they were sold out early on,
but when I visited, they had been generously restocked.
Personally, I'm a huge fan of the adorable Ponyo character from <Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea>.
You could find Ponyo dolls in various sizes for around ~$14 each,
and I also spotted Ponyo eco-bags and t-shirts, among other items.
I thought their color palette really suited the Jeju aesthetic!

Beyond these, there were also a wide range of goods and small items
of various sizes and price points. It made me take a closer look at items
I'd already seen frequently in Japan or at fairytale villages.
They also had stationery and interior decor items.
You could pick up postcard sets and masking tape featuring iconic scenes from Ghibli animations,
or adorable, compact magnets. These are budget-friendly options, so you can easily choose gifts
from Jeju Airport for your friends without breaking the bank!
Compared to other airport pop-ups I've seen,
this one felt rather modest and cozy in atmosphere.
However, because it's an official store,
the overall quality of the merchandise
is exceptionally good.
4. Various Jeju Airport Souvenirs & Goods
It was a small yet enchanting pop-up zone, a Jeju Island gift shop with a delightful Ghibli Studio theme.
Just browsing while waiting for my flight felt like stepping back into childhood,
truly a healing experience at Jeju Airport's souvenir shop!
If you're seeking a unique Jeju souvenir shop that offers more than just the usual tangerine chocolates or snacks –
a place to find special items that will keep the magic of your trip alive for years to come –
then I highly recommend a quick visit to this spot on the 1st floor of the airport, perfect for either the start or end of your adventure!
The Studio Ghibli Exhibition x Donguri Republic pop-up store will operate from July 9, 2026, to September 27, 2026. You can visit daily from 8 AM to 8 PM in front of Gate 3 on the 1st floor Arrivals Hall of Jeju International Airport.
