For my recent Jeju trip, I'm excited to introduce you to TOPS10 Villa de Aewol, a place that truly captured my heart!

It's not every day you find a hotel of this quality in the ~$73 range!

The room was spacious enough for two, there was a fantastic swimming pool, and the Korean breakfast we ordered separately was absolutely delicious.

From the comfortable rooms to the delicious local eats, I'll share everything I experienced during my three-night stay. 😊

📌 Approximately 30 minutes by car from the airport, and about 15 minutes from Aewol Cafe Street.

Gwakji Beach and Iho Tewoo Beach are also within 20-30 minutes.

📌 Clean facilities and friendly staff.

They say it was remodeled in 2023, and I was impressed right from the lobby.

The staff responded to requests and inquiries almost immediately, and the parking guidance was excellent, leaving a great impression from the moment we arrived.

📌 A spacious 52㎡ room, perfect for two. You'll have plenty of room to spread out your luggage.

📌 From shallow pools perfect for little explorers to refreshing adult pools and even a cozy warm pool – there's plenty to do right at the accommodation!

📌 I'd read reviews praising the Korean breakfast and had high hopes – oh, it absolutely lived up to the hype – and then some! So satisfied!

📌 Guests also get a 50% discount on yacht tours during their stay!

All Deluxe Double room types, like the one we booked, are located on the first floor.

If you exit through the automatic door to the left of the reception and pass the circular fireplace (left photo), you'll find a row of Deluxe Double rooms, with parking lot B right next to them (refer to the parking map photo above).

With the swimming pool and parking lot nearby, I wondered if it might be noisy... but it was genuinely peaceful the entire time.

The doors were incredibly substantial, which I guess is why it felt so private and quiet. Haha. Even though it was on the first floor, we didn't have any issues with bugs during our stay.

I knew 52㎡ was spacious, but the white tones made it feel even larger.

I also loved the layout where the bed isn't immediately visible upon opening the door.

At the entrance, you'll find a refrigerator, a small sink, a coffee maker, coffee, green tea, and coffee cups. There were also two bottles of water in the fridge.

Further inside, there's a sofa, a wardrobe, a king-size bed, and a vanity.

The power outlets were conveniently located on both bedside tables, next to the sofa, and on the wall, so there were plenty (no need to fight over them!), which was great for charging devices while lounging in bed. Lol.

The bathroom was also spacious and clean, with a sink in the middle, a shower on the left, a toilet on the right, and glass doors.

The reusable amenities had a pleasant, mild herbal scent.

There's also a balcony, perfect for drying swimwear.

In front, you can see the swimming pool, and further out, the ocean!!

I bet the view is even better from the upper floors, right?

There wasn't a table or chairs on the balcony. We used it for drying our wet swimwear. Haha.

I checked prices for a late October stay, and it was around ~$73 per night!

Depending on the stay date, I even saw prices around ~$66.

We booked through Trip.com as an 'airtel' package, including round-trip flights and 3 nights at Top's Ten Ville de Aewol, for a total of ~$401.

The outdoor swimming pool on basement level 1 is free for guests, operating from April 15th to October 31st, from 09:00 to 21:00.

There's a children's pool about knee-deep for adults, an adult pool, and a heated pool. Two sections of the adult pool walls are transparent, allowing you to see underwater.

I entrusted my husband with taking photos here, and let's just say I ended up with a pile of 'cringe-worthy' moments. Haha! I'll share more details in a separate review!

Please note that room bathrobes and towels are not allowed in the pool area. Swim towels can be rented for ~$4.

Breakfast at Aewol Hyangjeong isn't a buffet; it's a delightful Korean meal.

You can choose from Galbitang (short rib soup), Jeonbokjuk (abalone porridge), Jogaemiyeokguk (seaweed soup with clams), or Heukdwaeji Duruchigi (spicy stir-fried black pork). Just make sure to reserve and pay at the front desk by 11 PM the night before. As a guest, you'll also get a 10% discount!

Service hours are from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM, with last entry at 10:00 AM.

We tried the Duruchigi and Miyeokguk, both as a set meal and a la carte, and the only difference was the number of side dishes!

Even the Sujeonggwa (cinnamon punch) served as a palate cleanser was absolutely delicious! I'll show you more details about the menu and table settings in a separate post.

The path from the hotel down to the coastal road is surrounded by lush green fields.

However, don't expect convenience stores or other amenities right on the hotel's doorstep.

So, if you're someone who likes to easily stroll to restaurants and cafes at night, TopsTEN Villad Aewol might not be the perfect fit for you.

Even the coastal road near the hotel doesn't have a shoulder. You'll need to walk along the bicycle path on the opposite side and then cross back over to reach the restaurants.

On the map, direction #1 has one or two restaurants and a GS25 convenience store, while direction #2 offers a few more dining options and a 7-Eleven.

We walked both ways and tried out restaurants in both directions, but we highly recommend direction #2, even though it's a bit further!

Direction #1 is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel front desk, while direction #2 is roughly 15 minutes.

In direction #2, we indulged in delicious spotted prawn sashimi and seafood ramyeon at Badang Han Geureut.

Sipping a drink with my husband while gazing at the sea was simply wonderful.

It's usually hard for me to enjoy a drink in the evening because I'm always driving, but on this day, it was finally possible! Haha.

And then, there was Shiso Kaymak!!!

Absolutely delicious. Highly, highly recommended!

The convenience store inside the hotel is unmanned, and feels more like a small shop.

Since there aren't many items available, it's best to bring anything you might need beforehand.

For us, TopsTEN Villad Aewol felt like we "hit the jackpot" with our accommodation choice! Relaxing comfortably in a spacious room, having endless fun and laughter in the pool, and enjoying a delicious breakfast the next morning — what's not to love?

If you're traveling with a rental car like us and don't mind a short walk for dinner, then this accommodation is definitely one you'll adore.
