1st & 2nd Floor Guide

So, what exactly is the Jeju Aerospace Museum?
The 1st floor is the Aviation History Hall.
It showcases the Wright brothers'
historic Flyer, the first powered aircraft,
along with aviation history
focused on major milestones
and pioneering figures.
The 2nd floor is the Astronomy and Space Hall,
featuring the history of space exploration
and interactive constellation exhibits.
Plus, in the themed zones like Polaris,
Canopus, Procyon, and Aries,
you can dive into
5D and dome theater experiences,
and various interactive simulator activities.

Since it was temporarily closed,
my nephew
was so bummed he couldn't try it.

When the kids
hop inside the planes,
you can snap some adorable photos
at the designated photo spots!

They also screen the 5D Circle Vision "Polaris" show,
which is a fully immersive 5D experience
projected onto a 360-degree
panoramic screen with amazing 3D visuals
and special effects.

This is the personal
flight simulator
where kids can actually sit down
and experience being a real pilot!
Since this simulator lets you
virtually fly
a real plane,
it's a super popular spot
that almost always has a line.

They have various sizes available,
so you can put on a spacesuit and snap some cool photos!
There's also a spot where
you can just pop your face in for a quick shot.

You can also try flying
a virtual drone
at the simulator station,
so take a seat and give it a spin!

The souvenir coin costs ~$2,
but I decided to make
a museum souvenir coin anyway
as a little keepsake!

From making your own custom mug
or DIY mood lamps,
to crafting smart air rockets,
there are so many hands-on activities to choose from!
The "I-Jam Space"
is a dedicated kids' experience zone,
which is super similar to a kids' cafe.

It's an active play space
themed all around outer space!
It is open to kids
under elementary school age.

this massive indoor facility spans 1 basement floor and 3 ground floors,
so the absolute best part is
that you can explore
all day long
completely unaffected by the weather!

making it a highly satisfying experience
for both parents and kids alike!
